Character Information Pages

I have belonged to a great many fandoms over the years and a truly insane number of role-playing games in various forums. I understand how dull it is to have to sit down and list various facts about your character, but I'm here to make a very specific plea.

Half of you, approximately, have no information on your profile pages. Not even the full name of your character, much less the actual fandom you're from. Yes, I can go back to the main player listing and pick those out, usually, but that isn't just awkward, it's time consuming. It also tells me nothing at all about your character. Most of the time I won't be able to tell a thing about your character save what I can gather from your user icon.

Please, have mercy on the other players who might not be as obsessed a fan as you are and at least list your character's full name and fandom on the info page. (Or, in the case of the X-men, which of the enormous number of universes and plot-lines you actually hail from.) A link to a general information page on your world/fandom might also be helpful if you're inclined to such things.

As it is, your Journalism professor is going to be a real son-of-a-bitch if he has to track down this information by himself... and I think we'd all like to avoid that.

Edit: And by that last above, I mean that he likes to dig far deeper than you'd think possible and he loves to assemble dossiers and produce blackmail. It's what the man is world famous for. If he's forced to dig for who you are...? Prepare to have no secrets left. At all. Ever.

So for your own safety? Please post at least a full name and the name of your fandom or source material on your info page. Thank you.
