Question about characters

Do our characters know what they know now or what they knew as teenagers? Cos Paige didn't know she was witch when she was a teen. Also should I be associating with other Charmed members?

Well I just talked to Jack Sparrow as if I knew him, which she wouldn't as a teenager, so I think you can adjust it however you want, just as long as you keep it consistent? It's very confusing LOL

I think they just interact and discover things about themselves and each other. Paige may not know she has sisters yet, but that's no reason not to think that she and Phoebe wouldn't become good friends anyway. ;)

I think it depends on how you want to play it and how others in your fandom are playing it. Me, Kara and Sharon are playing it in our canon teens so that Kara hasn't killed my brother yet and we don't know Sharon's a cylon, etc.

I've always written post-OUATIM fics with Sheldon. So I'm merely putting his sweet blind self in and de-aging him to a teenage mentality (not that his mentality isn't teenage to start with).

So I'm assuming it's up to us to decide how much they know?

Wouldn't she, though? I mean, depending on how old you're playing Elizabeth, you could actually be concurrent with movie canon. Jack, otoh, if he's being inserted as his teenage self, totally wouldn't know you, which does seem to be how he's playing it.

Ok, well I've used a power so I guess in that case I'm playing as if I know I'm a witch, but as I'm Paige Matthews I don't know about my sisters (although I may have mentioned them in my RP journal!)

How do people do this I'm totally new to it all and it's so confusing!

Yeah, I accidentally called him *captain* so I'm playing it off that she mistook him for someone else, or something.

So this should be *quite* interesting if he's not captain of the pearl XD

i agree that it kinda depends on how you want to play your character. the whole game seems pretty open-ended and up to you, as it were... so like me, for example? ichihara yuuko is an adult, but she's a witch who can control time and space to some extent...plus she's very youthful looking in the first place. so i'm going with the idea that she's still the same 'age' (which is never specified in the manga, as far as i know) as she is in canon...and she's just passing herself off as a mature-for-her-age high school senior. that way, i don't have to worry about the "oh, does she know that yet?" dilemma. ^_~ so unless principalconnor objects, i say do whatever you think is best/easiest for your characterization.

Since Angela knows both of you, maybe I could say something like "Wow, my lab partner/this girl I meant in Study Hall is from SF, too"? (I would say you look alike, except ... Rose and Alyssa don't, except in both being thin female brunettes.)

I just went and read his application to fandom high and it totally looks like he isn't - in fact, he seems to have been sailing on something called the Hermione(not that you know that in character). But you're absolutely right, this is going to make for interesting times. *g*

Paige may not have known she was a witch, but she did know she was adopted and she did suspect the Halliwells were her sisters. So getting to know them would be perfectly in character.

Also, since this is our own little world, Paige's whitelighter powers could start to manifest earlier than they did in the show. :)

Well..... you weren't a BITCH about it, but you did OMG MURDER MY BROTHER CUZ WOMENZ SHULDN'T BEEE IN TEH WERKFORCE! AHAHAHAHAH...errr. Actually, that is a very very sad thing about BSG that Kara, our badass wonderful amazing Kara, showed the ENORMOUS DANGERS of sleeping with (1) the son of a war hero and (2) sleeping with a junior officer and giving him perks because of the sexX0rz.

Of course, this does not stop me from shipping her and Lee and Sam&Jack ...like, EVER. AHAHAH.

She knew she was drawn to them and to P3. I don't think she had any idea why. Also, we don't know if this was lifelong, or if it only came up after the other sisters got their powers.

I do agree with you that it's likely she'd want to get to know them, though.

(Can you tell I'm a tiny bit obsessed with the show? And don't you think teenage Paige + Phoebe = NervousBreakdown!Piper and Prue?)

lol, I am playing her kind of wild (as I believe she was as a teen) but I've decided she knows she has some powers but isn't that clear on how to use them
