*waves* I haven't quite figured out Jack's backstory yet, but he's already related the story about ending up in bed with his two executioners, so presumably he has already done some time travel (and some pissing of people off).

I'm largely playing him as being a bit more obnoxious and hormone-driven than he is in the series, because, please: teenage boy.

I'm playing Rose as though she is fascinated by time travel and aliens, but does not really know of their existence.

She's basically a normal teenage girl who is somewhat outgoing.

Turlough (companion from the Fifth Doctor's incarnation) is following the same plotline he had in the series - his family was exiled after they lost the civil war on his home planet of Trion, and he's been banished to Earth. Only instead of the boarding school in England he's somehow ended up at fandomhigh.

To begin with Turlough is superior, closed off and tends to look out only for himself. If the Doctor ever shows up here then I might be following the Black Guardian storyline (the Guardian offered Turlough a route off Earth if he killed the Doctor. And there was Angst.)

We do! And Turlough has encountered the Black Guardian, so he's all set to make inept and half-hearted attempts on ten_and_chips's life. Acme products may be involved.

Somehow, the Doctor became who he is at this point in canon, only with the modifications of not meeting Rose. He and Romana know each other, and deep down, he is surprised to see her, as he thought she goboom.

It is unknown as to why he regenerated into Ten. That is, he doesn't talk about it much. Or anything regarding Gallifrey or the Time Lords.

Actually, I was thinking Rose could learn about everything while at Fandom High (so I have more to post about). But I can change it so Rose already knows the Doctor if that's easier. I would like for Rose to interact with the Doctor, though. :)

We could say that Rose knows about the Doctor--say that the events of 'Rose' happened, but she didn't end up going with him in the end.

And I would like the Doctor to interact with Rose. [grin]

I've been thinking a lot about this (too much) and I think it will just be better if Rose did travel with the Doctor afterall. I'd hate to act as though all those great moments on the series did not occur. If you're okay with that, do you mind if Rose was moved into the advanced class?

By the way--the Doctor thinks that Jack's dead, and in game he hasn't had any evidence to the contrary (CJ referred to Jack as 'Chip', who could, in Ten's view, be ANYONE).

As far as I'm concerned, this is a Jack from before what we saw in the series. Unless you have a better idea? (I haven't done anything either way with whether he remembers the Doctor or not.)

Well, Rose is current canon!Rose (see threads below). So I was thinking that both Rose and the Doctor think Jack's dead ('cause you know, Rose doesn't remember any of the whole Deus Ex thang). So they'll both be surprised to see him, and even more surprised when he doesn't know who the heck they are.
