Grissom, now with 50% less jackass

For those of you familiar with Grissom, thought I'd give everyone a heads-up as to how I am playing him. As of now, I am playing him up-to-date with canon, and the new season will be folded into canon as it is applicable.

Grissom finally burnt-out in Vegas. After equalsmcsquared (Sara Sidle) submitted her LOA, he started rethinking his life, as it were. He didn't leave Vegas just because of her, but after everything that has happened in the past few years, and coupled with his neverending issues with the administration of the lab and his frustration with being a "paper-pusher", he resigned. Kind of a "what do I have left to do here?" thing. He took off rather abruptly and decided to take the position in Sociology here. Yeah, part of that was for irony, but FH is a little whacked, so in a weird way it fits.

He always thought his work was his life, so he's in a bit of a tizzy now, as much as he can be.

He didn't know that Sara was on the staff here, but took it as a sign. He will stop being such a friggin' douchebag to Sara be working on becoming Sara's friend again. He may also have his moments of pining and jealousy regarding her, because let's face it, the man sucks with people sometimes, but he still is crippled by his own insecurities and will not be actively pursuing anything romantic with her.

As for as a teacher, he's trying to be open and a better "leader" than he was in Vegas, but he'll have his moments of being an emotional-asshat now and again. He'll be rather formal, but fair.

Also, he may have hidden kinky behaviors. And by that, I mean he will definitely be a kinky bastard at some point.

He also is living in the dorms with his bugs. They will definitely get loose now and again. So feel free to wake up with some sort of insect life attacking your face.


Other than that, I don't have many plots figured out for him, so if you know the fandom and have ideas feel free to come play with him. He isn't a club advisor yet, so come sucker him into something if you'd like. I have a noteboard tacked onto his profile, drop me a line there or here.
