::very hectic state:: MATH STUDENTS
Real life has taken over beyond compare, I haven't been able to read any of the communities for the past three days plus, nor update the ultimate class schedule, nor post for the mathematics courses in any form. Please use the tags ("mathematics") to see what each classes work was to be for this week and use that as journal/complaint/glee material. The syllabus are actually near completion but have yet to be finished, and I am already taking up too much time because I have to race off to homework do I may finish it in time for other things. I will attempt to catch up over the weekend, though I will be drugged from getting my wisdom teeth removed so we shall have to see how that will go.
Secondary -- The quiz was ungraded.
Advanced Theory -- I will make advance posts with the class times on the entry and you can have your "graded discussions" there. Just post once or a couple of times and the relevance/depth of that will aid your grade. Of course, students who get really involved will recieve higher marks. For Lit, participation is 30% of your grade! Origins is 25%.
Sorry about these inconveniences. Will be fully able to focus come next Wednesday after school.

I'm just wondering if I need to have her drop the class or not. Thanks, no rush.

I intend to make links to all discussions from my bio in the future.
A good example on how assignments to be turned in should look is here. Basically, how do you think your character WOULD do on this assignment, considering interests, prior knowledge, time, and perfectionism? All factors.
At the end of the semester, Nadir shall be arranging a private discussion with each student in his "office" (read: his own journal, viewable to only that character) where basically the grade shall be decided in OCC discussion and a few general questions on the material covered that can be completely BSed from google searches.
Lastly, any texts that I will require the students to read shall either be very short, small selections chosen to represent the entire work, or supplied with a summary.
I don't think anyone should have to drop. I have a real life, after all. The greatest length of an assignment that would NEED to be turned in will be the end-of-the-semester paper/project which will be short (few hundred words tops as an opinion piece), with subject determined by each student, and open to creative outlets.
If you have any more questions or requests on how to make it more managable, please mention them to me. I have my own "real life" to manage after all and am completely understanding. (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhigh/41239.html?thread=2737687)

Thanks, sorry to be a bother, I just don't want to hit-and-run classes, but I can't be putting a ton of research beyond some Googling into responses - so this sounds perfect. I just didn't want to be disrespectful of you as a player if that's not what you had in mind. I also haven't seen you around lately - did you get hit my the fandomhigh plague? ;)
