So, tonight's a full moon.

And I play a werewolf.

Anybody want to be mauled? Bitten? Try to keep the werewolf under control? Other werewolves to run amock with?

Oz is in the basement. Room B1, wihch he took because it's reinforced. And successfully kept his wolf captive last night. (On Buffy, the full moon spans the night before through the night after the full moon, so Oz has three nights to battle it out).

Well, there was much feinting and lunging and flashing of metal in the Townies thread during the Chiana rescue attempt, but it looks like we missed each other, at least being-awake-wise. How do you want to handle the actual results of the combat? I tried to keep the descriptions of the combat interesting but sufficiently vague so that nearly anything could have happened.

So the question is -- do we want River wounded by Remus? :)

If you want River wounded she can be wounded, but surviving a werewolf bite in HP canon means she'll become a werewolf herself.

About the scene: yes, the descriptions were vague but I, the player, still wasn't there. This is considered godding. I appreciate the enthusiasm but I like to actually play out scenes I'm involved in.

*headdesk* I know... :( I'm sorry. I had guests until somewhat late, and couldn't get into the thread prior to that. At that point, myself, Chi, and Sam kind of got caught up in the thing. I'm hoping that, given canon of Moony's fairly easy distractability while in wolf-form, pulling his attention from Chiana to River wasn't too far beyond the pale...?

(I have no explanation for Bender; not sure if anyone truly does. *grin* )

I left the thing between River and Lupin wide-open, at the end, though -- if you want to play it out, I'm more than willing to give it a shot. *looks hopeful*

I'd be OK with River getting wounded, potentially... she's not infallible, and werewolves are supposed to be quite dangerous. And the whole combination of psychic teenage werewolf girl might be unusual to play.

Additionally, she has no real idea what Lupin is, or what getting wounded will do to her. So there could be angst. Lots of angst. :)

Right now, she doesn't know much more to think about this thing she's struggling against than that it might be a Reaver (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reaver_%28Firefly%29).

Is there ever any uncertainty in HP canon about werewolf woundings? I'm not sure, but there was that whole thing with... Charlie? At the end of HBP?
