OOC Gossip permissions/news/letter request- EARLY THIS WEEK

Everyone:

Because of Parent's Weekend and also because I'm running myself into the ground on Sundays and Mondays with the gossip column and Monday being my biggest personal workday, I'm going to post this now and beg you just to update me throughout the week.

If there's anything that you'd like gossiped about, drop me a note, and a link. If there's something that's totally offlimits, please drop me a note as well.

This is supposed to be fun, so if you want your character to get into a bitch-fight with Beka, or agree with each other to plant false gossip, that's cool, and I'm down with it - but let's do it by prior arrangement so we can contain the IC consequences to people who've agreed to be involved.

Also, don't forget we're looking for anonymous letters asking for advice. The earlier we get those, the better. Send them to Jake or Chloe so that Phoebe-mun and I don't know who wrote them. ;)

Angelus would probably be reported as being very snuggly with a mysterious new blonde. Depending on when the gossip column comes out, it might be known that this was an old girlfriend of his.

It might be noted that Rory and Logan seem to be taking a break from their usual drama in favor of being cute - and I can provide links to instances if needed.

You may want to get Logan's player's permission, but I don't think anything can be considered 'private' since Rory was talking to Angela about it in study hall, it made the radio, and they were quite demonstrative in the lobby last night. (Plus, anyone who was there could have easily seen the gift he gave her.)

Actually, while anything said by Barbossa is obviously fair game, and if someone sees them IC on the date and tells Beka about IC, that's okay with me, I'd really prefer it if they weren't completely and totally up for grabs.

*nods* I don't touch anything that's NFB or even stuff that happened behind closed doors that Barbarossa said. Without a specific IC tip either actual or anonymous or OOC specifics delivered that I can treat as an anonymous tip, most Beka's going to say is "Rumor has it O'Neill and Carter have been seen together - maybe that's why they both look so happy these days" or something like it. Vague speculation and implication, nothing more.

It's up to you, really. If you want to have them glowering at each other and subtexting nastiness for a few days, that's fine with me and might be kind of fun. Alternatively they can go a few rounds in the gym or snark at each other on the firing range. ;)

Eh, he still hasn't gone after Barbossa for the bunny cracks, so I think he's mostly just grinning and bearing it. Although additional snark is always good.

Oh, I still need to get my boy out on the firing range sometime. He doesn't have a gun yet, though.
