No, evil is me writing a college paper calling Frankenstein's creation "Adam" 'because it's shorter than "The Creature"' and stuff. Yes, tapping the whole 'Adam and Eve' vibe. ANd Evil is naming Buffy the Vampire Slayer's creature built from other creatures as Adam. The official proto-neo-human name.
