We should expect thunderstorms tomorrow.

wow. that's bad.

generally, yes, but I'm too used to rear wheel drive in snow.

fill pool rafts halfway with water, build framing out of 2x2s and cover with plywood to add weight over the drive axles

Yep. Happens almost every year, too.

Oh, I guess that makes sense. Except that then you have to redo all that work when the weather warms up enough to melt the ice, don't you?

[identity profile] apocalypsesoon.livejournal.com 2005-11-18 02:46 am (UTC)(link)
Nah, when it gets warm enough, I'll just take the pool rafts out and drain 'em for next year and either take apart the 2x2s and plywood and store 'em or just store 'em as is.

This would go underneath my current 2x2 and plywood drawer. 'cept if I build this thing, I'll totally put rollers on it. *steals a hearse*

Detroit doesn't defrost and then get pummelled by snow again (and again and again)?

*sticks fingers in ears* Lalalala

Oh, yeah. But if I make this so that the rafts won't burst from the amount of ice, then it should have no problem.

I need to put rollers under my drawer. >_< stupid plywood...

Okay. I'll take your word for it.

Same idea as this, minus being anchored and made from plywood with 2x2 rails
I want one. ;_____;
