Big Brother/Sister program
We're getting a fresh batch of gremlin fodder students in January. Since we've been playing together for a while, it might be difficult or intimidating for new players to get involved.
I spoke to the admins about it, and we're going to have a Big Brother/Big Sister program. Every new student will be assigned an IC/OOC buddy. IC, the Big Sister/Brother will explain such things as cafeteria food, gremlin bites and why being turned into an animal is no longer an excuse to miss classes. OOC, they'll explain stuff like how classes work, where you can put your character when you're bored and want interaction and why the characters watch all these weird TV shows. And it'll give the new students at least one character they know, so they can get started on interacting with people.
Rory will be the IC head of the program and I'll be managing the OOC portion, with Rory's assistance.
So, I need 20 volunteers to pair up with the 20 new students. Preferably 20 different players. We'll only use multiple characters from one player if we fall short of the total needed.
All volunteers must be students. (No teachers or townies.) If it's not IC for your character to volunteer (it's certainly not for Logan) then let me know and we'll work out a way for that character to be "volunteered" by a teacher or staff member.
Please be willing to answer questions and be patient with a newbie. Our ways may be strange to the uninitiated, but we can always benefit from fresh blood.

ETA: We're got more than 20 people now, but if you really want to do it, go ahead and put your name down anyway. I'll see if I can figure out a way to use more people.
