Hi folks! As Parents Weekend is coming up on Friday, your guest characters will be needing a place to stay. If they're staying at the magnificent Arms Hotel, I thought I would clarify some stuff now so things run smoothly this weekend.

Your hotel room is completely moddable except for anything that is specified at check-in, which means that you can't ask for a double and then change it to a suite later on. That said, you can pretty much go crazy with requests and the former casino host turned manager will be happy to accommodate your requests.

Room numbers are totally moddable as long as you follow a few guidelines. For consistency, even-numbered rooms have a view of Serenity Cove and odd-numbered rooms have a view of the town. Rooms ~~601~~ 610, 422, 410, and 321 are currently occupied while room 111 is reserved. Anything on floors one through seven is fair game. There will be a thread somewhere in Friday's hotel post if you want to specify which room number you are using. If there's anyone else already renting a room at the hotel that I haven't covered, just let me know in the appropriate thread below.

There is one incredible Presidential Suite available for rent. If your guest would like to stay there, please comment on the appropriate thread and if we have more than one, the RNG will pick one lucky parent.

I know some of you want to keep your guest stars secret until this weekend, so instead of doing reservations like I requested for Homecoming, please comment on the appropriate thread so our fabulous hotel staff can get an idea of how many people to expect. Those comments will screened until Friday.

You are more than welcome to play out your guest checking in on Friday. The amazing River Tam will be manning the front desk on Friday with the lovely Mary Connell assisting her so we can accommodate all time zones. The brilliant Hoshi Sato will also be around to help and the entertaining Jeff Murdock might be there if he's not hiding.

There will be afternoon tea as usual on Saturday plus another hotel post will be up on Sunday for people wanting to meet in the lobby.

One note about Mary. In canon, she is very particular about chasing after people who take towels, robes, pillows, etc., from their rooms without paying. If your guest wants to take home any souvenirs and be confronted by Mary, let me know.

Mary already added that to his bill along with all the room service charges.

Will there be a check-in posts for guests coming on Saturday? Kinda crashing the festivities late, so to speak? :)

What other amenities are available? There's what, a hot tub, sauna, workout room, 70's style roller-derby ring, grand ballroom full of goth music, twins that appear only if you're on a Bid Wheel?

I am so glad you asked that! Despite someone accidentally modding amenities over the summer, the hotel does not currently have a pool, sauna, hot tub, workout room, or casino that the management is aware of. There are two ballrooms but you have to clear it with Mary before you use them. As for anything else, she's open to suggestions, like, um, where is there room for a pool?
