So, we're all in Greece! What now?

As of now, the island is in the Aegean Sea, among the Greek islands. The Causeway leads to Santorini, and there is a permanent portal just to the left of the end of the Causeway that leads back to Alexandria.

A few guidelines:
1) Assume that those in charge of the island figured out what happened and how and told everyone. So both OOC and IC, you'll know that the island moved elsewhere as part of an emergency safety protocol.

2) IC, no one knows the island will move again. This will be discovered and announced later on.

3) Anyone wanting to be left behind when the island phases must send in a plot proposal for it. Otherwise, make sure all characters are conveniently back on the island on the night it phases. Next phase is Saturday, May 17, late late at night.

4) The weather will go up in a post each morning and stay the same throughout the day because checking the weather every few hours would drive us insane.

5) Students & grads only: If you want to be gone from the island on overnight trips, you don't need permission, but if you could drop a note in the relevant thread in the fh_office post, that'd be dandy.

6) If you want to suggest locations for the rest of the summer, you can do so here! Just remember, we need a body of water and a nearby town/city/whathaveyou for the causeway to lead to.

Currently, it's sunny and ranging between 16 & 20 c, or 61 & 88 f, and remember, we're treating the time zone issue as if EST is the right time for wherever the island is.

I just want to say, y'all, seriously, the whole island is gorgeous, absolutely stunning, and Oia is FAMED for its sunsets and Atlantis Books is the BEST BOOKSTORE IN THE WHOLE WORLD.

GOD I MISS THIS ISLAND.

Are fictional locations in play? Ones that are presumed to be on Earth, at least? Like could Fandom Island pop up next to Muir Island (Marvelverse) or near the island from Lost or right overtop of Bikini Bottom (Spongebob Squarepants)?

Real world: I think it'd be a crying shame if we didn't end up somewhere in the Bermuda Triangle at some point. The weird might create a black hole.

Having just been pointed to this post (which I missed the first time for obvious reasons), I feel obligated to point out that Cape Breton is awesome for prettiness, but being right off the coast of Halifax, Nova Scotia would put people a lot closer to the largest city in the Maritimes. And also I live here, and so can offer lots and lots of advice on everything that needs to be seen in the city and in the surrounding area. (LOTS of history here, and opportunities for various day-trips or overnight trips, if people are so inclined.)

And also Halifax is just kinda awesome. :D Lots of the amenities of a larger city while still maintaining the attitudes of a smaller city, I find.
