Random Event: Cause You're Hot Then You're Cold
Hi there!
We're here to announce a two day weather event that we're sure is going to provide some epic bitching. You will never know if we all laughed evilly when the idea was presented (oh what the hell, we all did laugh evilly). Anyway!
On Monday, January 17, summer is going to come to Fandom. That's right, it's going to be sunny, hot and gorgeous. The waters around Fandom will heat up, the sand on the beach will warm, air conditioners will kick up and you'll be wondering where winter went! Well, you know, the island giveth when it wants to give. Your FH Administration will organize an impromptu luau on the beach for EVERYONE that wants to attend. It'll be a WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL celebration for one and all.
Of course, the island can also taketh away. On Tuesday, January 18, the summer weather will be GONE. Instead, a blizzard will roll in, cutting power with its ferocity (power will be out in the dorms; in town, if you'd like to mod that your home or business has back-up generators, that's cool. Or actually warm.). Just as in past power outages, fireplaces will appear in all common rooms and homes and extra blankets will also be available for those that need it.
See where the bitching comes in? We knew you'd like it! On Wednesday, January 19, the weather will return to normal winter weather and the power will come back on. Who knows why the island is acting this way? We sure don't. Or maybe we do. Teehee!
