Livejournal Release 99
LJ Releases (There's no
news post yet, but judging from recent releases, when there is one, it'll probably just be a link to the
lj_releases post.)
New Stuffs:
* A shorter and visually-tweaked "Create a New Journal" page
* A notification system to send you an e-mail if someone logs in to your journal from a device (presumably they're talking phones or LJ client apps there) it's not familiar with.
Fixed Stuffs: Directory search supposedly works properly again, and OpenID logins are now off the list of journal types that can be deleted for inactivity.
Stuffs They Broke While Trying To Fix Stuffs:
*My will to live.
* The "Post/Edit New Entry" page has been switched over to the new style for everyone; you can still switch back at this point, though.
* As is traditional among our people, notifications are extra slow.
* The default-style comments are also apparently acting up worse than usual right now. (I'm not switching over to them to see if everyone's affected or just some users. You can't make me.)
S'all I got, for the moment!
