Sooooo, my evil BDE ghostie is Samara Morgan (she_neversleeps) who won't be possessing anybody because the last time she tried that (in The Ring 2) it did not work out so well. She doesn't especially want to return to life anymore, just make other people share her death, which she's discovered Fandom is great for, since she can make her video appear all the time, rather than wait for people to pass it around. (She also wants a mommy who loves her and won't throw her down a well; if you've got a character -- or a ghost! -- who'd be stupidly sympathetic to her and you want to be the object of her fixation, that could be interesting to play with.)
What she will be doing is showing her cursed video (warning for some bugs and finger-damage grossness) at the Mystery Science Theatre on Wednesday, then spending the rest of the week tormenting anyone who showed up to watch it.
Nobody's going to die, because she won't get her full seven daaaaaays before all the ghosts get chased off the island, but anybody who wants to can become a victim of her escalating FEEEEEL MY PAAAAAAAIN visions (scenes from the cursed video and from her past), nightmares, nosebleeds, coughing up wet hair or electrodes, animals around them acting weird, and appearances of Samara's ghost out of water, in a chair in an empty room, or out of a nearby tv. (She won't look directly at anybody with her deathglare if she crawls out of your tv. Just be creepy at you, then disappear.) Much of that can be modded aside from the actual appearances, but I'm up for playing out hauntings or hallucinations with people too.
