Event: 20 Year Reunion!
Hello folks!
The weekend of May 28th-29th will be another 20 Year Reunion weekend at Fandom High! On Friday, May 27th, all the alumni and expats of Fandom will be invited back for a party, to have a little fun and catch up with old friends. But after everyone goes to bed that night, Fandom magic sets in, and a whole different alumni-and-expat event will take place... as the twenty-year-older versions of everyone (should they so choose) on-island are going to find themselves waking up in their old homes, hotel rooms...or in the dorms. That should go over well...
The event is again open to everyone: townies, teachers, students, expats and alumni! The twenty-year-older (give or take, we're not going to be checking calendars) versions of your characters will be temporarily replacing their younger selves for the weekend, thinking that they're coming back for a normal reunion. Since we're currently in the midst of summer semester and various characters are stuck off-island for plot reasons, we'd also like to open the event up just a little further.
If someone's trapped off-island or spending a year dead for tax purposes, their future self can still show up. Portalocity will just grab their actual physical future self; they won't be taking over a 2016 body. (So future!them can be around on the island for the event, but their trapped/dead modern self isn't going to have memories of the reunion.) Characters who are off-island and can physically make it there, though, will still have to show up normally.
On Monday, everyone who came to the island physically'll be back to normal - with or without memories of the event, depending on your preference. AU characters whose bodies were not originally on Fandom will simply disappear. Remember: these are possible futures, so feel free to go wild with it - who knows how things will actually pan out!
There's a plottery post up here for you to work out your backstories (front stories?)/tragic demises, but for now, any other questions? Comments? Marzipan?

Expats and alumni who want to be part of the event but can't be physically present can still have their future selves show up on the island. Those future selves will arrive on Saturday morning like they're showing up to the 2036 reunion they think they're attending.
They simply won't take over the current character's body (and so will also not leave any memories behind in the current character); those future selves just stepped through a Portalocity portal that accidentally took them back in time.
