Event: Fandom Exposition!
Hey Fandom!
Now for something... sort of new! We're reviving the old Monthly Markets in a new, maybe-one-shot-maybe-not format-- the Fandom Exposition. On Saturday, August 6th it will be market day in Fandom, where people from both on and off the island can show off their wares in the park.
That's the part that remains the same. However, we're also opening up sign-ups for tourists (willing or otherwise) to swing by the market, and the island in general, for the day. Maybe your tourist character has heard about this nice farmer's market happening nearby, and they've decided to visit - and wound up on an island on another planet instead. Maybe they tripped over their own feet, fell down a hole, and wound up in Fandom's park. Anything is possible!
Both visiting market stall merchants and tourists can be played by anyone: current players, ex-players, and potential players hoping to scope out the game for the day. All you need to do is fill in one of the sign-up sheets below and post it as a comment to the applicable OCD in this post. If there's a problem with the character you're apping, the administration will contact you, but otherwise, you should consider yourself good to go.
For newbies:
Fandom High is a prose-style journal-based roleplaying game, set on the Island of Fandom, a small isle that mysteriously resembles Mont St. Michel. Sitting on Fandom Island is Fandom High School, home to a variety of students from all over the universe who have come here, willing or otherwise, to get an education at the hands of our capable (cough) teachers. Rounding up our appable character types are the townies, the people who run the stores and restaurants in town. Applications for students and teachers are open thrice a year; townies can be applied for throughout the year. For more information, consult our profile page here for all the links you might need.
If newcomers find that they enjoy hanging out on Fandom Island and playing with us, or oldtimers decide they really like their guest character, we're happy to remind everyone that applications for teachers and students are open until August 14th, and townie apps are always open!
