2017-2018 Student Council Elections!
Pardon me while I interrupt your Labor Day with some copypasta, because it's time for Student Council elections!
The Student Council is comprised of 9 students total: 3 seniors, 3 juniors, 2 sophomores, and 1 freshman.
IC responsibilities for StuCo members include:
OOC responsibilities for StuCo members include:
Since the ball is rolling on the semester, the campaigns kick off now!
OOCly: If you want to throw your character's hat into the ring, fill out the appropriate thread below. This will also count as handwavily filling out the same form IC and sticking it in a box on Zoe's door. This is the minimum requirement for getting your character's name on the ballot.
ICly: Campaign your little hearts out! Put up posters, give speeches, kiss babies, hand out buttons - whatever. You don't have to do this as part of the election, but remember that you're asking to be elected to a job that requires more work IC and OOC, so campaigning might be a good way to show both yourself and everyone else that you've got the time to put into the task.
The deadline for sign-ups is 11:59pm Eastern, Tuesday, September 12th.
The day of the election will be Wednesday, September 13th.
The election winners will be announced Thursday, September 14th.
The first StuCo meeting will be Friday, September 15th.
Just follow the OCD and you'll be all set!

4) List at least one idea for an activity that Student Council could do that it hasn't done before: Study parties with nutrious brain-food snacks and that alpha-wave stimulating destress music or whatever for focus
5) Why should you be elected to Student Council?: I didn't break anything when I did it last year
Re: Sign-ups for StuCo!
2) Class: Senior (oh gosh)
3) Previous experience (Fandom High StuCo, jobs, clubs, or experiences from before arriving in Fandom): I was on the Council for both my Junior and Sophmore years!!
4) List at least one idea for an activity that Student Council could do that it hasn't done before: Organize a clothing drive for those students who come to Fandom with very few belongings or money!
5) Why should you be elected to Student Council?: I just adore helping to plan parties, which seems to be a big part of the Fandom High StuCo experience!!

Sparda2) Class: Senior
3) Previous experience (Fandom High StuCo, jobs, clubs, or experiences from before arriving in Fandom): Been on StuCo for like two years now. Good, right?
4) List at least one idea for an activity that Student Council could do that it hasn't done before: More pizza parties. I'm calling dibs on the sixth floor.
5) Why should you be elected to Student Council?: Have I let you guys down before?
Re: Sign-ups for StuCo!
I'm so sorry, Zoe.1) Name: Paris Geller
2) Class: Junior
3) Previous experience (Fandom High StuCo, jobs, clubs, or experiences from before arriving in Fandom): I was on the student council at my previous school. I was also on my newspaper staff, led numerous study groups, a suicide prevention hotline, helped out at a teen homeless shelter, and have been volunteering at a hospital since I was in fourth grade. I also never miss a city council meeting and have been writing my Members of Congress since I could write a non-embarrassing letter.
4) List at least one idea for an activity that Student Council could do that it hasn't done before: Update the school brochure? Because this is NOT AT ALL what I had been promised. At all.
5) Why should you be elected to Student Council?: Because I am extremely driven, and have copious amounts of spare time here because there aren't enough classes and Harvard won't accept slackers so I need to fill my hours with extra-curriculars that make me well-rounded. And I am excellent at
terrifying people into following my willmanaging things.Re: Sign-ups for StuCo!
2) Class: Junior
3) Previous experience (Fandom High StuCo, jobs, clubs, or experiences from before arriving in Fandom): None
that I'm going to tell you about.4) List at least one idea for an activity that Student Council could do that it hasn't done before: I've heard that the island is being invaded regularly. I propose that the Student Council makes plans for setting up a defense for the school that could quickly be up and running. I have some experience in this.
5) Why should you be elected to Student Council?: I realize that since I am new here, not many of you know me, but I am trustworthy and will work to improve things for everyone at the school.

2) Class: Junior
3) Previous experience (Fandom High StuCo, jobs, clubs, or experiences from before arriving in Fandom): Dude, I love planning parties. It's, like, my calling in life. I could totally plan an entire dance with a good team on my side
and I will in canon.4) List at least one idea for an activity that Student Council could do that it hasn't done before: Uh, I'm like, way-new, so I don't know everything you've done? Have you done an island-wide game of paintball? Because that would be EPIC.
5) Why should you be elected to Student Council?: I'm outgoing and get stuff done. No, really, my dad says I'm the 'Unstoppable Object' and I win against 'Immovable' forces.
