meme: reverse questions with a twist!

Another Friday, another meme. What better way to spend a snow day where I am absolutely not setting foot outside except to clear the five inches of snow off my car? Also I can't find that we've done this one since May of 2016.

Pose a question (or as many as you'd like, and they don't all have to be in one comment, so you can come back later and add more if you want) to your fellow players about the game or their characters, and they will Wall-of-Text if they want to, look, I know how some of you are answer them. They can be personal or silly. You don't have to answer all of them! Nothing counts in game, of course and etc.

Questions might include "Which of your characters are you the most like?", "Which BDE was your favorite?", "What music do you RP to?", etc.

Do you still pick birthdays for your characters? How do you come up with them?

It's kind of funny, because until Norman, not many of the characters I've apped have really had any need for a birthday. Peridot wouldn't have one, and Kanan likely wouldn't actually know the exact date of his anyway.

This question DID remind me that I need to come up with one for Norman, which I'll probably discern using some combination of divination involving tea leaves, horoscopes, and reading the junior novelization in the hopes that there's something about the date in the intro that talks about when he was born.

Hannibal's is canon, Peter's is canon, Cecil's is narrowed down by canon, and the rest all just have mine, because I'm too lazy to bother changing it after I create the account.

I probably should. I don't have one for Rey, but I'm also not sure she'd pay much attention to it.

March 4 is Brooke's canon birthday.

Kitty is January 12, which is the day her first appearance in comics happened. And then I read more stuff and get the impression her birthday should have been in the spring/summer, oops.

Jaina had a whole bunch of wonky time stuff so I could get through plots so she didn't really have a set one for a long time. Then when I made time normal I gave her Sophia Bush's birthday (July 8), and it so happens that she's now a week younger than me so I actually know how old my character is now.

Sia just had to be a Taurus. She ended up with May 2 because May 4 was too obvious.

Way back when Jaye got a March 20-something date because it was a friend's birthday and I thought I would remember it. Turns out I had that person's birthday wrong and now I can't remember what day it is.

Minako's was set, I think Sanna and I decided on the twins just for reference, Emma had none so I decided to be a troll and give her the Winter Solstice. Marti was just barely starting to show with Ada in October (iirc), so I did some maths since age and time are something Ada has in short supply. It's more important for her to have a birthday than for, say, Morrigan, who doesn't know and frankly doesn't care.

Only if it happens to come up in gameplay. Eliot has one because he turned 40, and for him that was a big deal. Raven has one because she and Kathy literally picked it before she graduated. I should probably figure one out for this girl, if for no other reason than to know what time of year I should officially start referring to her as sixteen years old instead of fifteen.

Usually based on something to do with the air date of a relevant episode, if it's not outright stated in question. Which actually leads into my answer regarding getting details wrong in RP that bugged...

There are hints as to when Summer and Rosa were born in canon that I one day want to dissect and figure out (Summer's mom got pregnant with her in high school, there's actually an episode where Rosa announces it's her birthday so she can warn people not to wish her happy birthday or else she'll punch them, and B-99 has holiday episodes that might help me reverse engineer it. Yes, I'm that much of a nerd). I should figure out Summer's soon since I imagine she's a summer birthday (thus the very unimaginative name) and she should turn 18 soon...or stay perpetually 17 like in canon, whatever.

Amaya probably won't get a specific one, but maybe a general "it's in the spring season," since they don't exactly follow a Julian calendar in Daventry. She's not likely to tell anyone anyway, so I don't imagine it being an issue.

And don't even get me started on what it took to just figure out Sidon's age, much less a birthday in a canon where the passage of time is a suggestion at best...
