What first drew me to her was her protectiveness, honestly. She grew up thinking she'd be in charge of her foster-sister's Queensguard. Instead, she ended up a Queen herself, which is something she didn't ask for or want but has accepted that this is what's happening, she might as well deal with it. And, okay, she freaks out a little about the whole two-gifts thing at the beginning, but eventually embraces it and doesn't let it master her (with a little help from some low magic to bind it, at first).
