and speaking of accents, she speaks in a fairly low voice, with a London accent. (She's from the West End and very posh, if you're the sort of person to be able to determine the region from which someone hails based on their accent.)
also, bonus points -- Lara Pulver won an Olivier Award for her work in the Gypsy revival a few years ago (in which Imelda Staunton played her mom and wow, of all the crossovers I never wanted), and thus, she can sing and do a half-decent American accent!
