A Couple Notes About Number 6

I'm aware that I'm from an extremely obscure fandom. I encourage one and all to read up in the Wikipedia link in my userinfo.

Anyway, regarding how I'm playing him:

1) Number 6 does not like you. It's nothing personal. He's just paranoid as all hell. I suspect he'll find compatriots later, but for now he's going to be a blustering ass.

2) I'm nothing like him. I'm very friendly.

3) Number 6 will frequently make escape attempts. These are all designed to foil themselves, so no interference is needed. If I need assistance, I'll ask.

Also, could somebody take 6's wooden crate to the post office? I would very much appreciate it.

I want you to know that you have no idea HOW MUCH I FANGIRLED AND SQUEED when I saw you pop up. And kosho ... <33333

*cranks up the Prisoner theme and grins*

Oh dear God, you're playing him like Pinky and the Brain, aren't you?

::dies::

Duo could take it to the post office. He's always checking for shipments of mobile suit parts.

Want me to just post about it on the personal journal? Or is there a "post office" in 'townies?

Haha, I can imagine the roomie coming home to find a giant wooden crate in the middle of his floor would prove to be an exciting and dramatic adventure...

I need help getting it to the maildrop. ??? (http://www.livejournal.com/users/time_agent/789.html?mode=reply)

Also, I hope a note on a malfunctioning typewriter was sufficiently Luddite. :)

I'm dying over here. Well done.

EEE, NUMBER 6!

*squees and falls over*

[identity profile] miss-thomasina.livejournal.com 2005-09-09 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
Can I just say that the fact that we have one current season Dr. Who character and OMFG The Prisoner rooming together is just incomparably awesome?

*fangirls you completely*

*grins*

Maybe I will someday.

And Arcadia? Arcadia is possibly my favourite Tom Stoppard play evar. Though I'm inordinately fond of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, Jumpers and The Invention of Love as well. And may well be about to fall in love with Hapgood. Who, me? A drama nerd? Nah. 8)

Ta, well - that depends on whether you think fangirling and -boying are equivalent or non-equivalent actions. Fangirling seems to involve a lot of incoherent and jumping up and down. To fanboy something on the other hand can be taken to mean one obsesses over it to an unheallthy impressive degree such that one can give a guided tour of the Enterprise(including the air ducts) or elucidate all ten-million-and-one places DC/Marvel canon has diverged/red-lined/contradicted itself. Or not.

Also re: R&G moodtheme - *squee*

Er, thanks. Glad you liked.

[It's 1 am and my brain seems to revving up - despite the whole not getting enough sleep last night thing - and this is totally a more interesting conversation than any of the ones I was involved in at school today.]

[identity profile] miss-thomasina.livejournal.com 2005-09-09 06:01 am (UTC)(link)
No, no - I totally get it. I mean, I grumble at people when they give me flack for, oh, saying 'I bet' 'cos Quakers don't gamble, but I really do value the nuances of language - using the right word, understanding the differences between words that are part of meaning groups, being able to use a word imprecisely on purpose. Etc, etc. Ad infinitum. Er, amen?

And I'm going to be a librarian someday. REALLY.

[Also, look what I have now! *shiny*]

[identity profile] miss-thomasina.livejournal.com 2005-09-09 07:09 am (UTC)(link)
What I do more often(or at least used to do more often) is mispronounce words horribly, 'cos I'd only ever read them before. Ah, the dangers of a childhood involving more books than people.

Yeah. I had to stifle the urge to apply to be a library assistant in character b/c it wouldn't have been in character. It's bloody instinctual.*sigh*

[identity profile] miss-thomasina.livejournal.com 2005-09-09 07:38 am (UTC)(link)
Which Methos seems to have a liking for, so he might well get the job. Not that the other applicants don't also have their . . . charms. 8)

Anyway, 's waaaay past my bedtime and I mean to sleep one of these years, so I'm gonna say goodnight and snag me a few hours sleep so I can come back and get my next fix play some more tomorrow. Night.

[identity profile] anextimeagent.livejournal.com 2005-09-09 03:54 am (UTC)(link)
Hee! (It helps that the muns know each other, as well.)

[identity profile] miss-thomasina.livejournal.com 2005-09-09 04:30 am (UTC)(link)
Suppose that could help. Especially considering who your characters are. 8)

I've actually been purposefully not finding out who's playing who if I can help it, though. Dunno why, since I've done far more face-to-face gaming than this sort of thing. *shrugs*

[identity profile] miss-thomasina.livejournal.com 2005-09-09 05:03 am (UTC)(link)
Something like.

Not that I think I actually know most of the people who are playing in this or anything. Dunno - maybe it's a fourth wall thing?
