Okay.

I was originally going to play Rory as sixteen, but considering her behavior lately (it's so hard to control these puppets :)) I'm thinking that maybe I'll put her at about eighteen.

And, if it's all right with everyone, I've got her acting a bit more like she does in the later seasons - a bit less timid, to say the least. She's not as obnoxious and Lorelai defying as she is in S5, but she's getting there. I suppose putting her at about 17/18 is best, because she's acting a little like she was when she was dating Jess.

Okay with everyone else? How many other Gilmore people do we have? I know Lorelai's here, and I saw Logan, but is there anyone else? I haven't had a chance to check yet.

Lane's here too. She has already discovered her love of drumming and begged to join Professor Ted's band...

YAY.

I'm so happy. If we get a Paris, I will literally squeal with happy.

It's not even funny how tempted I am to sign up as Luke to teach home ec.

Someone already got to the Home Ec position (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhigh/38049.html?thread=1325985#t1325985), but Luke would have been hilarious. Paris would be awesome. And I would DIE if someone picked up a Kirk!

Yeah. I'm only willing to do two characters because Angela can be fairly quiet when Mark is busy, and vice versa; Luke and Rory wouldn't work that way, plus talking to yourself is limited fun.

Yep -- Mark as in Cohen. I really wanted a movie theater, and him opening one made sense to me.

I didn't really think about the weirdness of there being four "mes" on LiveJournal before. (Mark, Angela, my regular journal, and a sooper-seekrit journal I stopped using when I realized privacy-locking stuff was much more efficient) In theory, we could fangirl together over Rent all over the place, and never recognize each other -- or Logan, Logan and Jess could all be one. I can't decide whether that would simplify Rory's life, or complicate it beyond belief.

That's because Dean would be way too hard to play. He's too nice a guy. That's why I'm not playng early Rory anymore - it's hard as hell to play a girl who's THAT virtuous.

Well - when I initially signed up - I hadn't decided on a season to play or anything - but since Rory was here, we were playing it as if Rory had come to Fandom High instead of going to Chilton.

So basically, I think we're going AU from the whole show - Lorelai wasn't an idiot and realized Luke was the one and they got married right away. No Rachel, No Max, No Christopher part two, etc.

But obviously Rory and Lorelai would still know Lane from town and Jess from being Luke's nephew.

Wait, so basically, you wanna make it so we've already dated and broken up and all. Are we still talking or do you wanna play it off as a little awkward when I come strolling into town like I always do?

Let me know how you guys decide to play this so I can decide how I'm going to act towards Jess, okay?

We could do that. I was going to make it so that we're talking - I mean, I'm expcting some hostility from Jess, but Rory, for her part, is going to try to be nice.

Okay so we didn't cut off contact completely, but we're not best friends. Kay. Of course there's always gonna be hostility on Jess' side considering he's always gonna be in love with Rory so the break up would still make him bitter. Is that okay with you?

Works perfectly for me. And hey, if we eventually want to write them getting back together, also works for me. Rory's going through a weird period guy-wise right now, but I'm kind of letting the character take me where she wants.

That's fine. I can work that into it. I'm sure Jess isn't going to want to dive into anything except for maybe a black hole so he doesn't have to deal with the world.
