Pirate Radio/daily recaps

My evil pirate minion hasn't gotten access for fandomhigh_ooc quite yet, but I wanted to let you all know that I'm volunteering to head up the pirate radio/daily recaps for the community.

Today's will be a general overview and I'll try to cut the major plotpoints that have happened this week (squids, gremlins, bar fights, teacher/student coffee meetings, class work, ridiculous amounts of fun at Logan's party), but I'm sure I'll be missing some of things that happened. Starting tomorrow I'll try to keep track of all the threads, but if you could drop a note into likeguidelines journal, I'd be most obliged.

And if anyone wants to offer to assist, I'd be even more obliged.

Do you think you should start a separate comm for the recaps? Maybe fandom_daily or something?

Only give a few maintainers the ability to put up new posts - but let anyone comment so they can link fun stuff?

I absolutely don't want to be stepping on any toes as to what the newspaper'll be covering. This thing'll be mostly quick blurbs with links to the action.

Nice thing about being between jobs--LOTS of spare time. Any time you have available would be gratefully accepted. :)

I have no clue what the newspaper is doing (aside from publishing weekly on Mondays) - we were supposed to have a meeting tonight (I think) but haven't seen the editor around yet.

But I can gather info for both at the same time :)
