Would the following students and teachers please proceed immediately to http://www.livejournal.com/manage/invites.bml and accept or decline all community invitations. This is especially important in the case of teachers who were accidentally added and don't want access, as not declining still holds up the process.

Unfortunately, I can't do anything about the people who signed up and then wandered off. Their invites will remain clogging up the queue.

I still have 22 students, at last count, that I need to add to fandomhighdorms and some of them are getting impatient. When you log in today, please accept your invitations so that they can be granted access, get into the swing of things and post.

Mine's fixed, and I've now accepted both invites. I think I missed the original post because things tend to stream by so fast overnight... I found it four previously's back. :)

That's why I keep saying it and why I left this one so long and without a cut. I know that a lot of people aren't on-line since I started nagging and the rest of the posts were short enough to be swallowed in the other postings.

It might be a good idea to link these Admin posts on the fandomhigh comm. I wouldn't be surprised if some people don't have the OOC and Dorm comm friended.

Interestingly enough, this is what the OOC comm is for. So this sort of thing won't clutter up fandomhigh. People are supposed to friend this community. It says so on the main comm info page.

This post is in the correct place and these people should be watching it for exactly this sort of thing.

I know. I was suprised to see so many teachers on the list, but I know I added several deliberately because they said something about either living on campus or in the dorms... and I know at one point I simply lost track of who on the list was a teacher or a student.

... hence the posting. I knew a number of people probably had no idea they had random invites lying around.

Is there any order to the granting of access? 'Cos I note that half a dozen people who signed up after my character have access to all the comms and I have access to none of them.

I realise you're doing the best you can, but it's just a little frustrating to have signed up to play and not be able to actually post anywhere other than my own LJ.

And you may have received this suggestion before, but you might like to consider opening all the comms for membership for the space of, say, six hours, then close them up again. It would make things a lot easier for you guys to have to kick (illegal) people off the comms rather than have to add all the valid ones.

Access to the dorms would be heaven. I'm in #407 with Buffy, and Angelus is next door in #406. I'm sure that at some stage I'm going to want to freak. But in a military kind of way. *g*
