To make it easier for your students (and yourselves) to find the classposts you can tag the post with the keyword "class".

If you want to make it really easy for your students to find their classes, tag the post with the name of the class: eg. "cyborg theory" and we will leave apples and roses and assignments on your desk in eternal gratefulness...

Mine are all in my memories because, while I can tag entries, the damn system refuses to let me click on other people's or even my own and have anything happen.

Really? Never encountered that problem before...

My experience is that if the teachers post their tagged lessons in fandomhigh, then anyone should (and it can be a big 'should' with LJ sometimes) can click on the tags and get all the entries for that keyword.

I can't get them to work with any of my journals and I have yet to discover why.

are you using s2? apparently you need to to have your own tags work... if you already are then i don't know, because s2 sucks and i haven't tried it yet. i can still get to other journals' tags though. you might have a special lj problem all your own! (yay! :P ) or the journals you're trying to get to haven't enabled s2. try fandomhigh's tags, i can get to those.

I do use s2 for the most part, as I prefer custom layouts using Opal. And even my free accounts are s2 because I prefer the set-ups.

I was thinking about going through the comm and tagging all entries and then including a box on the main page with links to all the tags. One of my writing communities has this done and its immensely helpful.

The tags I use are specific for each class Sara is teaching. I also tag her personal entries as such, with the names of the students they include. Everything is also in her memories.
