So...what's with all the deleted journals showing up in the comm? Does anyone know what happened to [livejournal.com profile] washwaslaconic, [livejournal.com profile] warr_n_peace and the other various chars that are coming up all scratched out? Is someone out to get us all, one by one? Will I be next??

And if someone already posted the answer to this, I apologize. I've been staring at this computer screen for going on ten hours. My brain is mush.

Okay, I don't know the answer to this, but now I really, really want there to be some sort of B-movie plot where a serial killer is out to get everyone at FH. Sort of like Urban Legend except without Joshua Jackson because I find him irritating, and with a lot more characters that I do like!

Agreed. It would make an excellent subplot.

Not necessarily a serial killer, but something causing mysterious disappearances. Or there could be dead bodies! :)

Yeah! And this is just a guess on my part, but considering the awesome club Angelus is setting up (which I wanted to join but would be very un-Roryish), and the things I've 'overheard,' I don't think that would be too big a leap.

(I wanted to join, too, but Logan's only into inflicting violence and pain on people who piss him off. Not random innocents.)

Yes! We can start with putting up "missing" posters and such for the dropouts. And proceed from there. A couple of Logan's roommates haven't been seen lately, and I was going to check on that.

[identity profile] auroryborealis.livejournal.com 2005-09-14 07:03 am (UTC)(link)
(Plus Angelus is a Young Republican, right?)

I'm getting way, way too into this. The only problem is that we'd have to have someone take the fall for it, and I don't want anyone kicked out.

(Yup. And Logan's a Hollywood Liberal.)

Not necessarily. I mean, we can point fingers all we want, but the culprit doesn't have to be a student.

Gosh. It's sure be handy if one of us knew a detective, wouldn't it?

[identity profile] auroryborealis.livejournal.com 2005-09-14 07:07 am (UTC)(link)
HA. I was just thinking that. I came THISCLOSE to typing "Veronica is so going to come in handy."

We could create someone to be the actual culprit, and then if the students want to work for this villain, they can.

Or something. Or someplace.

But yes! Big mystery plot! We'll have to figure out if there's bodies or not, if the players are definitely not coming back, who's doing it, etc, etc. But, unfortunately, I should really get some sleep.

Maybe the yearbook staff should be the first ones to notice that there's a large number of disappearances? If they're cataloging names, it might make sense.

[identity profile] auroryborealis.livejournal.com 2005-09-14 07:11 am (UTC)(link)
I like that, with the yearbook people. One of us can bring it up at the next meeting.

And yeah, I second the sleep thing. I have class in...six hours. Blehhhh.

Hmm... could be interesting...

I'm starting to think I should set up a Veronica AIM so I can talk "game strategy" with people in real time :)

[identity profile] teenaged-twin.livejournal.com 2005-09-14 07:08 am (UTC)(link)
I'd just assumed they'd run into the gremlins/zombies/tentacle beasts/things in detention or got shoved into locker 327/the girls' restroom next to the cafeteria. Same theory I'm using for the disappearing teachers.

[identity profile] auroryborealis.livejournal.com 2005-09-14 07:10 am (UTC)(link)
I like that, too. And that way, students can still be suspcious of the JA if they want to be, even though there's a perfectly reasonable explanation.

You know, reasonable for here, anyway.

Well, I didn't know about the subplot yet, but I've already posted missing posters (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhighdorms/36151.html) for one of my AWOL roommates. It sounds like an interesting plan for dealing with people who "forget" they signed up. ;)

I saw! That was one of the things that made me think it would make a good subplot.

OMG, I love this idea! I'm so in! Somehow.

Probably people decided they couldn't keep up or changed their minds about playing. Woe.

Or it's the Nothing eating up our fantasy world . . .

[identity profile] river-dancing.livejournal.com 2005-09-14 06:57 am (UTC)(link)
Eeeek. That's a spooky thought. The latter, I mean. :)

Nothing's impossible in this town.

Er. Even the Nothing isn't impossible in this town.

Why am I suddenly hearing a distant voice calling "Atreyu! Nooooooo!" :)

Maybe there's a Luck Dragon somewhere in this town.

[identity profile] river-dancing.livejournal.com 2005-09-14 07:17 am (UTC)(link)
I can but hope. River's luck's been bad so far -- being a psychic dormed up across the hall from the noisiest thinking EMO ANGST queen in the entire building has got to be, if not a record, then damn near... :)

[identity profile] aka-vala.livejournal.com 2005-09-14 06:57 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, and they were playing pretty heavily too... what's up with that? (I wants my Wash!)

[identity profile] sheldonjsands.livejournal.com 2005-09-14 07:20 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm starting to wonder if there's a trapdoor in my house here. We lost two roomates.
