Plotting: Missing Students

As Rogue pointed out, there's a number of students (and teachers) who have suddenly disappeared. We're thinking of turning that into a plot. If your roommate/lab partner/drinking buddy has disappeared, please post "Missing" posters around campus/town so we can start getting suspicious. If you've had to quit, or if you just need to disappear for a couple of weeks, let us know so we can use your character as a victim. If you're interested in participating further, comment here.

We'll probably suspect JA right off, so I don't think they can be the actual perpetrators. We can work out the details later, but villain suggestions are welcome.


I have no other ideas yet. :) Brainstorm away!

Please be aware that where ever Spider goes, everything he sees, overhears or happens anywhere around his quarters or in his classroom is recorded somehow. Still pictures, video, sound... the man is a walking recording device. In any situation he deems of interest, he leaves high tech bugs in his wake like a termite infestatation.

So if you want anything incriminating or explanatory captured in a visual or audio medium... he's probably your guy.

Totally on an OOC basis, obviously, and not meaning to be in any way snarky. I'm genuinely curious about this.

It seems like you're trying to deus ex machina it so that nothing bad ever happens to your character. I mean, there's, like, no way for anyone to do anything to him and get away with it (leaving themselves open for a revenge plot later, of course, which is part of the fun of leaving oneself open to attack, IMO). And I guess what I'm saying is--why not? It seems much less fun to me to be playing a character like that.

I just started an investigation L&O Style over at fandomtownies regarding the disappearance of washwaslaconic.

CSI team will be doing forensics.

However I have no idea where I'm taking the investigation. If you guys want to throw some clues around...

We did arrest oatmanspatient on gun charges and roughed up Jay & Silent Bob.

No problem. We'll figure out a way to work with it. I was hoping the teens could run their own investigation (since it's IC for many of them), but maybe you guys could be strictly on the case of the missing Wash, while we could deal with the overall trend of disappearing students? Or... maybe you guys wouldn't think of the supernatural? I don't know. It'll work out somehow. :)

My roomie is Ginny Weasley, and she's not really playing right now. So I'm all for Janet joining in somehow. (She's not specifically a forensics expect, but she's a medical doctor with experience at saving the world. Who happens to be a teenager right now. She's got to be good for something in an investigation.)

Due to circumstances completely within my control I was suckered talked into translating something for someone Monday night, and thus went completely AWOL from the RP for a couple of days.

Which means, that Xelloss' whereabouts were completely unknown at that time. It should also be noted, that one of the recently deleted teacher journals was a teacher of a class Xel signed up for (in fact, that'd be what... the third class I've put him in and the teacher's vanished?)

So yes, I would TOTALLY be up for Xel having a hand in this. XD
