An Apology

An apology to the fandom high community as a whole for a rookie mistake of not keeping my character in canon as much as I should have. I am sure I am not the first to go out of canon nor will I be the last. Most of the damage has been taken care of in the form removing some of the threads that were not canon for Maia Rutledge. Other threads remain as Maia is a teenager and can experience romance etc.. Maia will go back to her pre-cognitive abilities and refrain from telepathy as that is not an established canon of Maia's character.

Maia however is emotional, as a person abducted at the age of 8 and not returned until she should have been around the age of 67 but was still 8 when she returned, has every right to be. Her world is totally different, her parents died without ever knowing what happened to her and now she is 18 still trying to find a place.

So like I said, forgive a rookie mistake of RPG into threads beyond Maia's canon and ability. Maia's MUN will do better to keep Maia in line during her stay here at Fandom High.

If Maia is absent from threads this weekend when she is expected to be there, assume her MUN is in the middle of Hurricane Rita or suffering power loss as a result of the said hurricane.

also, the icons are not all MAIA from the 4400 as she is only 8 in the show, Fandom High Icons was kind enough to find me someone who would work as an older version of Maia for the icon purposes, thank you Fandom High Icons.

My most sincere apologies to the MODS of Fandom High for making the canon mistake.

Yeah, we should totally do that! Shane works over at Deb's diner, so Maia could stop in for pie or something one night :D I think she and Shane kinda have something in common, seeing as how Shane's perceptive almost to the point of it being extra-sensory, almost, sometimes (well, to the outside observer, anyway - mostly she just has her eyes open - lol).

And you're very welcome, hon. I've been through more than a few of those buggers, myself and they're not fun at all, but I know just how you feel... *more hugs*

We are going to catch the East Side of it, I'm about 30 miles from New Orleans, we're still picking up from Katrina. (Lost the roof and the ceiling in our bedroom caved in) So, we're not to to thrilled to be on the east side of that girl if she does not turn. We'll know more in the morning I expect. Already getting some rains and the winds are kicking up, dunno if its from Rita or just a sick coincidence of Mother Nature. Thank you for you kind thoughts that very sweet. *smiles*

Not to be rude, but yes, I noticed the serious canon flaws in her; I'm a big fan of The 4400 and all but you've done good as an RPer so far, so don't worry about it! I'm just glad that you've realized and you are working to change it :) Yay Maia!
