If my pups (House gotcanewillpoke, Oz nightsmoonchild, Connor teen_twin or Boone cerulean__eyes} seem distracted, disoriented, or...anything unusual...In this game I'm sure we can blame it on the way the wind is blowing (heh), but in RL, my grandfather is not doing well, he's in another state about 500 miles away, and the doctors said "prepare the family". So...yeah. It's my dad's dad and Dad is taking the news hard. I may end up going to Ohio this week, or sometime soon...I'll post OOC if so, because net access will be sporadic and limited up there, and I may not be able to keep up with my classes...Which I assume would be acceptable given the circumstances...

Anyway. Just wanted to let you all know. Tonight I'm feeling very unsettled and out of sorts, too unfocused to think about RPing at all. Hopefully that won't last very long...

And what sucks is that even if you did do the character yourself, it's not the same fun as when somebody else is playing them. That fine line between RPGing and writing fic. Don't you just love friends where "Would House bottom to Angelus?" is a perfectly reasonable question?

Exactly! I have a House game on greatestjournal, and my mom started out playing WIlson...but she never posted for him and eventually I took him over and...it was like...gah. I'm writing fic. So...I gave him to someone else and...yeah. RP and Fic weave a very fine line at times.
