ATTENTION: People Interested In the Missing Persons Plot

We've had a lot of characters go missing in a very short period of time(I don't have an actual concrete number handy, but I'd say it's more than 50, less than 100, roughly). We're also probably coming up on another open enrollment and we'd like to get a clear idea of what characters are and aren't available to be enrolled. In the interest of dealing with both of these problems at the same time, the admin hive-mind wants to both make a suggestion AND put out a call for volunteers interested in gathering information related to the missing persons. The suggestion is as follows:

We need to create a list of all those characters who have gone missing.

Then we need to contact each and every one of them(leave a comment to their character journal marked URGENT).

When we make contact we need to ask them which of five things has happened to their character:

1. Gone for good - someone else can re-enroll the character under a different journal.
2. Gone for good - we can use the character in the missing persons plot as we see fit.
3. Gone for good - they want to put the character journal up for adoption.
4. Temporarily gone - with IC and OOC reasons.
5. Temporarily gone - we can use the character in the missing persons plot as we see fit.

Once we have that information, we can both further plot and create an accurate list of characters already in play.

So, yeah, I know I'm crazy, but the good crazy, right?

George's roommate, Gord lookatmyhooves disappeared. His mun actually dropped out of the game, but you may want to contact her and see how she wants it handled. I've been using the "mysteriously disappeared" excuse.

connie_the_kid is gone for good, Jack ate through my mind and stole all my time. Feel free to use him in the plot or free up Connor for next enrollment. Either way's peachy with me. And hell, if someone wants to adopt him feel free, he even comes with icons already.

Thanks for the heads-up. If you'd be willing to have him adopted with some intervening disappeary plot, that would probably be coolest, but whichever way you want to go with it, why don't you make a post over at fh_adoptions advertising his availability? It's worth seeing whether anybody would be interested, anyway.

Also, do you know who was playing your dear roommate, Tim Drake? Or why he disappeared?

Yeah, I know his Mun IRL, Timothy Drake/Bobby Drake had to leave because his net access took a turn for the impossible. I'm sure he'd be willing to donate them to the cause.
