Student Elections - Debate Anyone?
In case you've always wondered what a dean of students does, his essential function is to act as the liaison between administration and the student body. He is the judge, jury, and executioner who cares. Unless he's Jack Bristow. Not so much with the caring then.
Student Elections are in full swing. I propose a debate to be held next week. Any office where more than one candidate expresses interest in participating may engage in a war of words. Any office where only one candidate is interested or there is only one candidate may give a brief speech outlining their platform. The debate will need a teacher "moderator" to engage the candidates with points to discuss and whatnot. If this sounds boring, then you have not met anyone who actually attends this school.
Please express interest here and we'll work towards organizing a date.

Oh, and random - CJ does know why Rory's not doing the trust games anymore, right?

I would like to propose a town-hall type section of the debate, where the student body would be able to ask the candidates questions directly.

I hope to speak with you about this at some point, as I have not seen any clearly stated outline of what the duties of the office are, but I imagine they would be merely a reflection of your own duties from the student side of things.
Thank you.
