OOC: god-mode apology to Colo crew and a few friends re homecoming tickets

This morning in thinking over the rules given, it occurred to me that one of Beka's freak fits of generosity actually constituted god-moding on my part. I'm really sorry.

When Beka went to buy Homecoming tickets, she was feeling rather flush and happy with her friends. She bought tickets for a bunch of people. I should've contacted each of you first to see if that conflicted with any of your plans.

It's the sort of thing I do all the time in life, and it never occurs to me in RL that people might prefer it otherwise either. Wasn't trying to box anyone in or interrupt any plans, just wasn't thinking.

If she bought tickets for you, and you'd prefer it otherwise, respond here, and we can deal with it IC or OOC as you prefer.

*hugs* Thanks. Paige was actually where it started. Beka knew she didn't have money for the dress and didn't want her to be stressed. Glad it worked out good for them. Very. :)

OMG... I think both Shep and Beka have learned to stay far far away from the booze for a while. [g] I'll play the date thing however you want. It's not a major to me. Don't annoy Jack needlessly. Unless it's fun for you. :)

Shep has a history of playing the hero - but defying regs if he has to in order to do it. He got busted down a grade in Afghanistan for it. He's no angel either. But he is a Good Guy. If you know what I mean.

*sigh* one day I'll know what the fun smut is about. :) I'm really hoping to corrupt a character coming in on the next enrollment. The mun is a friend of mine and I think she'll play to it. :)

Beka's not that hungover, but she is mortified about being in her bra in the bar, and the dorms, and all over town apparently when Anakin levitated the girls and she dragged Shep back to the dorms.

I'll see what Jack-mun decides. It's kind of up to her at this point, since I'm rolling the plot back the way it was supposed to go, I want to give her the options. I talked to Sam-mun and she's got Sam a date, but we've agreed there'll be minimal emo betw/ Beka and Sam if Beka and Jack don't go.

Truthfully, you and I play together really well and we could make the Homecoming really fun, especially if Beka can get Callisto to tell her about the fear toxin so they don't drink it. Beka and Shep can do some heroing. :)

Beka will play hero, obviously. She's always willing to put herself between the bad and the innocent, which is a big part of her play with Angelus. Angelus knows it and is amused but they find each other somewhat useful, too.

Beka isn't a Bad Guy. If Angelus hurts anyone, she'll be first in line to dust him. In fact, she'll probably fight Faith and Buffy for the honor. But she's also pragmatic enough to work with anyone who can help her get what she wants.

Fun smut is awesome. Have you been reading the Beka/Angelus thread? It's smutty but it's also a lot of dialgoue. They're snarky together. And hey, you know, if Beka nd Shep do go to HC, sex is sort of a tradition. *snicker*

Shep's mostly dead. No one passes out that hard without a seriously sad next day or two. :)

Let me know on the HC thing. I'll play it however the little pack we seem to run with wants it to go.

Being heroes would be fun. But even if Shep doesn't go to the dance, he could get a call to come help straighten things out in the gym where people are wigging out.

No, not really a problem with the rules. I'm just not sure whether I ran afoul of it already by mucking with Beka's knowledge about her future or not. It's a plausible development off a stupid plot thing in canon with time-travel that gave me a nasty headache.

As soon as I hear from Jack-mun, I'll let you know. I'll get back to the wake-up thread. Have just been wrapping the smutty Angelus sex thread. ;)

I think we all play with the idea of knowledge of our future. I got the impression someone did something like, "Shep wasn't an Air Force officer, he was a United Airlines Pilot. That's just so radically different. Being AF is fundamental to his nature... you can't go mucking with that and still have the same character.

Speaking of time travel (Shep's been to study hall, but he can't get his ass off your floor. [g]) the wake up thread is killing me. I do; however, HAVE to cut off at 9:00. 3 hours sleep last night (due in large parts to it being the night before my period started and I *never* sleep that night... TMI?) Anyway, I have got to sleep tonight. :)

Hum. Well, I'll wait and see. They haven't answered my post, so we'll see where this leads. At this point, it'd be nearly impossible to undo without undoing Beka's relationships and starting over from the beginning. (Some days that might be a blessing.) But I'm totally happy to get rid of Ghost-wheel. It was a silly plotbunny and it's made things really complicated not to be uber-powerful-magic-god Beka without contriving reasons for Ghost not to be around.

Poor baby. I'm assuming it's 9 your time now. We can finish it tomorrow, if need be. They're so much fun. XD
