OOC for Hathor Plotterific

Yo. What's the masterplan for Hathor!Janet today? Lee would like to get back in control of his liminal sexuality life so ... when's the big show-down, de-goa'ulding, let's-start-the-crazy-angst-times-infinity?

RC's interested in playing too if need be.

Hee. Working on that (although Homecoming doesn't seem to be when it's going to happen...Sam's going with the Principal's kid and certainly isn't going to mess with him, and Jack got shanghaied by Anya once he and Beka called it quits).

Yeah, would be much appreciated, but I understand that you're a bit...busy, right now. It'll keep.

You say "busy," but you mean "crazy."

Because I also have a family dinner with Dru, Spike, and Angelus to finish up later. *facepalm* Gah, talk about freaky-sick (but fun to do).

I had no idea Hathor!Janet would take off the way it did. I mean, I love that it did, but I had no idea!

*g* See, it helps that you're psychic.

There's a dinner with Dru, Spike, and Angelus? Where? *loves all three, can't wait for Darla to show up on Parents' Weekend*

Hey, it's a fun plot--it's got humor, action, and lots of potential angst as a payoff. What's not to like?

It usually helps, yeah. ;)

Here's the dinner. I was trying to rp this last night as we were doing the second part of the revelation scene. *facepalm*

Oh, and I got an NPC player for Uncle George! Our Darla is gonna rock. Actually, let me know if there are any other of the good Dru things you want links to. I have way too much fun playing Dru. I got to mindfrell Crichton twice.

And hey, good point on the Hathor!Janet plot.

[identity profile] carter-i-am.livejournal.com 2005-10-06 04:44 pm (UTC)(link)
How are you not completely mindfrelled yourself? You're all doing *such* a great job with those characters. I keep hoping to interact with them as Lilah, but I'm not sure how to make it happen. *ponders*

Yay, Uncle George! I can't wait for Parents' Weekend--especially if Jacob Carter makes good on his promise and shows up to totally f*ck with Sam's brain and newfound sense of equilibrium.

Dru's such a good character (and the only consistently evil one throughout the whole series).

Um, is there anyone who hasn't messed with Crichton's head? *pets John* I'm still in the middle of Season 4 of FarScape, so I don't have the full backstory yet.

Wait, you're Lilah too! Cool! I love your Lilah. And I have been trying to think of a way to get Dru and Lilah in the same room, but I have no idea how to do it. Dru gets...weirdly obsessed with Lilah. *ponders* I'm sure if we work together we can come up with something. Half the reason the Hathor!Janet plot is kicking such ass is we're making a great antagonist/protagonist team here.

The problem with Dru is that she's being low profile girl right now (heck, the only people who know what she is are Angelus, Spike, Belthazor, The Old Firm, and Lilah), so mostly she doesn't seek out interaction with anyone but Angelus or Spike. However, with the addition of the right plot, that could change.

But I think you can get around Spike easily, because his bar got trashed. Maybe email the player about an insurance investigation plot, and Lilah can be his attorney?

OMG, you're having Jacob show up? *dies* That'll be so cool! And lead to great angst!

I'm just so glad they left Dru as consistently evil. Making her good would just break her and she'd be far less interesting that way. See, I have issues with this whole Spike Redemption concept too. Just so you know.

Anyone that hasn't messed with Crichton's head? *thinks* D'Argo?

[identity profile] carter-i-am.livejournal.com 2005-10-06 05:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, Lilah was my first character. (I'm hoping to pick up Jarod to annoy the hell out of Parker, but we'll see). I love having an evil alter ego--it makes work so much easier to deal with. *snerk*

Unfortunately, the plot to serve Buffy with a restraining order (against Angelus) seems to have fallen by the wayside. As has the hiring at W&H--trying to find a virgin on this campus has been a bit...complicated. Once they start cracking down on the job rule, though, she may get more applications.

Then, Lilah was going to sue the police department for profiling and Briscoe and Logan left, so that fell apart.

Me? I'm not having anyone show up. :) Someone who plays Jacob in another RPG actually volunteered. And far be it for me to miss an opportunity to mess with Sam (who still doesn't know about the whole Beka breakup/Anya Homecoming thing--*note to self: speak to Jack-mun, unless we want big dramas at the dance*).

Yeah, Spike did become much less funny as he became redeemed, plus they had to do some strange, strange plot wrangling to make it happen. ('course, I'm a closet B/X shipper, so what do I know? Heck, I even liked Riley before he went all weird because they couldn't figure out what to do with him.)

I wish there was a D'argo here. That would be fun to see.

I think you're one of the few people that could pull off Jarod without turning him into a horrible Marty Stu. God, you must have been dying at all the W&H stuff on Angel.

Yeah, are you trying to find a female virgin or a male virgin? Because the men on campus have a few virgins amongst their number, but they're all such white hats none of them would apply to W&H. Luckily, Janet has two extracurriculars on her schedule: Gun Club if it ever meets, and Drama Club once she gets de-snaked and makes up with John (Crichton).

See, here's the thing: Do you want big dramas at the dance?

Oh, man, I have so many rants on Spike's Redemption and Spike/Buffy and... *sighs* I'd have liked Buffy/Xander more if I hadn't been such a huge fan of Willow/Xander and Buffy/Angel first and second season. Though after the series ended, I could have seen Buffy and Xander getting together after Xander recovered from Anya angst.

I'm flexible in most of my BtVS pairings (but, wow, not Spike/Dru or Giles/Jenny). This makes the fandom much easier for me to deal with.

And Riley--he went the traditional way of Buffy's boyfriends, because they couldn't figure out what to do with any of them. Which annoyed me.

D'Argo would rock. He'd be so very cool.

BTW, I made a post locked to Sam and Belthazor about a potential idea for a plot you guys and Dru could do. Well, you-as-Lilah.

Aw. *pats RC* We'll see if we can figure out a way to work a sci fi character into an evil demonic plot.

[identity profile] carter-i-am.livejournal.com 2005-10-06 07:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks. *blushing* Yeah, he's tough--smart and good looking. He's also naive, vengeful, and a pain in the ass. Between the elections, Rob Gordon's stalking, the whole Michael subplot, and the dance, he's got *tons* of material to start from.

I really want approval for an anonymous delivery the day of the dance--send her a wrist corsage, one crystal earring, a dance card with his name penciled in for the last spot, and a full pez dispenser. With a note, obviously. Then I'm thinking of having him not show up. *is evil*

Sex of the virgin is immaterial. (Okay, and how often do you get to say that in conversation?) I was actually hoping either Xander or Wes would take her up on the offer. Of course, I was also expecting Belthazor or Lindsey to apply for a job, but that hasn't happened either. *pouts*

Not sure whether I want big dance dramas.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I tend to forget about how good the chemistry between Angel and Buffy was. Willow and Xander gives me a bit of a problem (even though I so totally was Willow in that situation growing up...y'know, had Xander been gay...), because I *adored* Willow and Oz together.

You're right about it having to be post-Chosen. I figure that with Xander over Anya and Buffy over Spike and/or Angel, it would have been nice to see Xander finally get his shot with her, since he's been so patient.

*sigh* to Jenny/Giles. He so needed a woman, and she was great for him. Spike/Dru is also good (when it works--he's more than her bitch, but she's definitely in charge), but I'm more flexible with that one.

Hee. My SG/Buffy epic? Uses Riley and Dawn as the cross point (post-Chosen, obviously). I got tired of it being all Xander and Willow crosses (not that they weren't good ones, but I wanted something a little different).

Oh, and I forgot to reply to this: How are you not completely mindfrelled yourself? You're all doing *such* a great job with those characters.

*beams happily and is complimented* I have no idea how I haven't mindfrelled myself. Seriously. It's fun, though, playing both of them! But never two evil-aligned characters simultaneously again. Never. That's way too hard.

Um, is there anyone who hasn't messed with Crichton's head?

Well, he can add Hathor to his list.

*cuddles John*

He'll be passed out until tonight (code for: when I get home from my night job).

Okay. Feel free to join the chaos when he wakes up.

Our Darla is gonna rock.

*blushes* *preens* (Well, have been trying to wait, and only occasionally in OOC posts showing up and cooing over Angelus.

And Angelus gets no egoboo out of that at all. Really.
