Another newspaper question

Does anybody have an in-character reaction to the elections that they'd like to have quoted in Monday's FHtimes? I'm looking for average students, as well as winning and losing candidates.

Linkage to a post I can quote is fine, or just drop something in the comments here. I will love you forever. (Or at least until oatmanspatient gets back.)

(This is where having decided I didn't need to pay attention to the elections because my character wouldn't is a *bad* thing.)
