Adoptions
This is simply a reminder that adoptions are currently frozen, and have been for quite a while.
Adoptions shall reopen later this week, as soon as I am able to juggle the adoption process when I am no longer on vacation.
A note in the change of adoption policy: From now on, all adoptions will be run through me. No player may simply hand a character off to another player. All characters up for adoption will be handed over to me, and then people will fill out an application to take control of said character.
This method is utilized to make fully sure all players are fully aware of the game and the game's rules and regulations, and the administration has a file for who exactly is running what characters. There have been issues in the past, and we wish for these to not arise again. We apologize for any inconvenience, but the "first-come, first-serve" adoption policy of the past simply does not work.
Thank you.

While yes, somewhat of an unassociated set of reasons in comparison to this particular case, special treatment, especially for ones such as this that will be easily resolved by walking through the adoption process in a few days, sets a horrible precedent.
It may look like a mess of red tape, but it'll be very simple once it is up and running, I promise.
