OOC: thanks & links
To everyone who got me a rename token-- THANK YOUUU! *points to username* Parker is now 17, and her username reflects it. I forwarded everything, so no one should have to do any kind of re-friending or re-joining, but for you newbies, she's still the same, just changed the name. I love you guys.
Second: Some of the newbies have been warned about Parker IC, but a lot of you aren't familiar with her OOC. I posted this back in September, for those of you who want a quick run-down of PRETENDER and some idea of who the heck this person is. She's actually in a pretty good mood this month, and she's been forced by the administration into being welcoming. So she shouldn't be *too* harsh to any of our incoming characters.
That said? If you want her to traumatize your character IC, let me know. The FH_Directory puts her fears down as "stupid people, stupid questions, and the above combined with my charming temper problem" so if you want, it won't be hard to get there.
Now back to catching up from the phone madness, campaign craziness, and new classes.

Continuing the completely OOC-ness
With my amazing sense of timing, they were the finale! *g*

Re: Continuing the completely OOC-ness
Parker was... well, seriously, you!
And having been marathoning Alias, I was very confused every time they said "Sydney" and it was an old man and not Jennifer Garner.
Re: Continuing the completely OOC-ness
Yeah, by four years, he'd made progress and found some of the family, yay. Although never as much as we would've liked.
heee! Thanks. I adore Miss Parker, and now you see why.
*snerk* Tell me about it. I keep wanting to spell his name Sidney, even if it's not canon, just to keep it straight!
Re: Continuing the completely OOC-ness
She rocks! I'm sure she'll be my favorite character (and as the show's over, I don't have to worry about my favorite character curse - yay!)
*giggles* It probably wouldn't have been quite so bad... but I literally watched a season and a half of Alias in four nights!
Re: Continuing the completely OOC-ness
And yes, the series finale was by far one of the most confusing things ever. But also? *tear drop* Then again, I liked the first movie.
Re: Continuing the completely OOC-ness
Yeah, it had it's moments. SO did the first movie, but they really missed the boat on explaining *anything*. *sigh*
Re: Continuing the completely OOC-ness
There are movies?!
Re: Continuing the completely OOC-ness
Re: Continuing the completely OOC-ness
Do your favorite characters die too? Argh. No, she gets into some ugly situations, but no death, thank God.
*snerk* A lot of the terminology -- Cleaner, Sweeper, the Centre -- is the kind of thing that would fit right in to an ALIAS episode, too. I'm sure that doesn't help.
Re: Continuing the completely OOC-ness
Oh yes. It's a horrible trend, and now I'm not allowed to have favorite characters anymore.
*giggles* No, it probably wouldn't. Although I had so much fun when Alias had The Trust as a shadowy government organization and I'd just mentioned the NID two minutes before *g*

To the point of... I'm going to type mparker16 in the lj tag that follows. It should read mparker17, if I'm right:
