We are now taking nominations for clubs. Per the rules, all students need an extracurricular or a part-time job in addition to their classes. You sign in at club meetings, you interact with characters who share your interests. It's fun. And there's a wide range of clubs for you to join.

As I want to make sure I have a listing of all the extracirriculars, if you're planning on having a club this semester, I need to know about it. This also goes for clubs that were established last semester. Otherwise the club will not be official and your characters will not get credit for attending. TA, student council and library aide positions DO count as an extracurricular.

There will be an IC club fair post going up. However, I need this information OOCly before anything's official:

What I need from you:

Faculty sponsor
Student organizer
Time and day of meeting
Location of meeting

I'm giving it a due date of Tuesday, January 17 if you want your club in the fair next week. Any clubs that form after that need to be brought to my attention before they're official. And of course, all clubs are are subject to consideration because this is a school, you know.

Angel and Lana were discussing some form of "My hometown was weirder than this place" support group/educate their fellow students group. Hasn't been formed or gotten a name yet, but if it happens Ms. Calendar will be faculty advisor.

Oooh! Ms. Calendar said she'd advise? Nice. I'm brain dead - and have been straight out this week (till Saturday, yay!) - or I'd try to come up with some sort of name or acronym. Lana will have to track Angel down at some point - or he's free to stop by wherever she is - and they can decide if they're going to do this and go from there.

Yep. Sorry Angel hasn't mentioned that yet. My own schedule's been wonky so for the most part if it's not a class, he hasn't been anywhere this week.

He has made a mental note that he's gotta touch base with Lana though. So he hasn't forgotten =)

Okay, just as long as they get one if they're going to keep meeting. Otherwise (especially with something like Self-Defense where someone could potentially get hurt) no club.

This should be coming from Kawalsky's account, but I'm too lazy to change it. Twas decided that the hockey team be not so much with the official anymore due to lack of facilities/lack of competition/difficulty of writing competitive sports in a text setting.

There'll be unofficial stuff, but yeah. No more hockey team.

There's the Gun Club. Principal Connor was the faculty advisor, but I'm not sure who it changed to or who's running it.

But it should be a hit with a few of hte new students.
