Things aren't looking up...
As much as I hate to do it, I'm going to have to withdraw - or at the very least, take an indefinite hiatus - from the game. My father spent all of last week in the hospital, came home and two days later was back in again. The second stay wasn't terribly long, but it just doesn't look like things are going to be clearing up anytime in the easily forseeable future.
Right now my biggest problem is not knowing when I'm going to have a ton of time on my hands and then suddenly have no time with no warning, so staying involved in a roll play game just isn't viable. I apologize if I'm leaving anyone in a lurch, but I need to put my time and energy into real life and it's not fair to other characters who are waiting for some kind of participation from me.
With any luck, the next month or so will see all this resolve and perhaps at that point, if the mods are willing, I can petition to get back into the game, but as things stand now I just can't devote the energy or time to highly structured game play.
I won't be deleting the journal, and if there's anyone out there who really wants to pick up this character with all of his attnedant bagage, feel free to contact me. But my guess is that if anyone wanted to play the character, they'd probably want to start over fresh with him.
