School Colors

Just an OOC reminder (or perhaps announcement)

As per the scheme on the website, the official Fandom High school colors are Blue and Gold.

NOT Pink and Green.

You may now go about your business.

I've been wanting to learn to knit. Now I think a Fandom High scarf will be one of my first projects, should I actually get around to doing that.

Or else a Ravenclaw scarf...*ponders*

Janet and I have been pondering FH scarf designs. I think we can all get pretty creative with this. =)

Hee! How sad is it that I had to resist the urge to hit the yarn store today? Sadly, there's always internet shopping... For example, I like Lion Brand Homespun (fluffy and easy to knit), and they have Golden and Cobalt (first column, last one and the fifth one from the bottom).

I'm a big fan of KnitPicks myself. Have to check in to their thick and soft and fluffy yarns.

I just finished a tapestry-style felted shoulder bag done in Ravenclaw colors for myself, and another done in Slytherin colors for a good friend of mine :)

In scouring my friends' facebook accounts, I've managed to ferret out a few other lurking-in-the-background photos. If this picture (http://photos-680.facebook.com/n15/208/72/11000865/n11000865_30301680_7537.jpg) loads, there's the Slytherin version peeking out from under the lounge on the right. You should learn to knit. It's a fun hobby! Addictive, though.

And start with something less time-consuming than a HP scarf. They're easy, but they take forever to do!
