Fandom High: The Convention

You can blame me and a handful of other people about this. Including some off-Fandom peoples, who are trying to organize the anime con season.

Anyhooo... would anyone be up for a FH Meetup? A separate convention, or as part of an existing sci-fi/fantasy/anime/general geekery convention?

I know there's a number of FHers around the DC area. I also know that Canada's drinking age is 19. So there's two options, albeit CanUS centric.

Is there interest in this?

totally always been in this community. honest

DC would be an awesome spot, yes.

There are... 8-10 of us here (or very nearby).

Doesn't take much to get me over there, though. London's awesome.

It really is. i go a bunch (twice in january) as i have LARPing buddies there. Every time i think i would love to live there. then i convert the prices to dollars and realize that nope. can't.
