I probably don't need to go into any detail about how some of the feeling and concerns that a lot of the players seem to be having these days.

I also know that there isn't really a clear way that we can resolve a lot of these issues.

This might be naive of me to try this but honestly, I doubt it can hurt.

So I'm asking everyone to put aside their issues today and start with a clean slate.

And also to make this commitment:

I hereby pledge that as a player I will respect all my fellow players.

I recognize that IC comments do not necessarily mean OOC opinions or beliefs.

If an issue arises between myself and another player, I promise to approach them in a respectful manner and attempt to reach a reasonable resolution.

Above all, I recognize that this is a game and I will endeavor to make this game fun not only for myself but for others as well.

ETA: There is an additional corollary to this from swerval_zero that:
