Dale stepped forward and held up his hand in a thankful gesture.

"Thank you citizens of Fandom! While being an officer of the law for this quaint town is reward enough, I appreciate the recognition of my fellow townspeople and in return will strive to be worthy of it. Thank you Fandom. You've made a dimensionally-lost FBI agent feel at home."

He gives everyone a thumbs up.

"And if the owner of a Segway Personal Transporter is in the audience? Your vehicle has been impounded. Just because I felt like it."

Several martians with wide grins appeared on stage and wrestled with each other for the award. The victor (small v, neither a proper noun nor in possession of green claws) stepped up to the microphone and chittered into it. "Nehehehehe," was what it sounded like at first, then he switched on the translator. "Thank you for this prestigious award." He sounded a lot like Michael Dorn. "Our brethren blew up your [microphone feedback] school and we'd [microphone feedback] do it again if given a chance. Neheheheheh."

He would have continued, but the dulcet tones of Tom Jones blasted from nearby, causing the martians' heads to explode in their helmets. Neville Flynn, Tom Jones-spewing boombox on his shoulder, walked out, picked up the award and held it high. "I've had enough of those [microphone feedback] martians on this [microphone feedback] island. Keep it real. Peace out, Fandom."

He strutted off stage.

A giant television screen drops down from the ceiling and turns on showing Jamie trying to play cards with a DRD.

A caption underneath the screen says "Somewhere in Spaaaaaaaaaaace...."

He blinks at the camera and then at another DVD who rolls up with an award on riding on its back.

"I won?! I won! How awesome is that? Wait. What did I win for? And who am I... Wait! This is being broadcast at home?! HEY! EVERYONE I'M LOST IN-"

And then there's a bunch of static. Stupid relays.

Dick went up onto the stage and cleared his throat for a second before shouting, "I AM THE SMARTEST MAN ALIVE!"

And then the world facepalmed.

"Yeah! Who's the dumbass now? I have a list here of a few choice people who can go bite me." said Dick. He pulled out a piece of a paper. "Veronica Mars, Cindy Mackenzie, Cameron Mitchell, Tino, Sheriff Lamb, Rosie the radio squirrel..."

"Never in my life did I think I'd be receiving an award for teaching," John said, grinning like a complete madman. "I've gotten a taste of power and now that I'm up here, I have a few things to say. First, Deadpool has big hips. He does. Second, Aly really is pregnant. Continue giving her gifts. Third, THANK YOU! I hope to mold young minds for a long time. And, if that doesn't work out, there's always the ballet!"

And with that, John strutted offstage.

Mel waved her Urkonn skull above her head did a little victory dance.

"Thanks everyone! This is ruttin' rocketship! And I'd like to take this opportunity to give props to my watchers, Xander and Dawn, Also to Willow who is like the best friend ever and anyone I dragged out into the cemetery in the middle of the night to look for non-existent demons or vampires."

"Finally anyone ever calls me Firelady again, I'm going to knock you into next week with one of my boots. Thanks again everyone!"

And with that she sauntered off stage.

John leapt onto the stage and accepted his award. "Wow, this was...unexpected. I never see these things coming." He grinned, "Thanks to all those who non-dated me for being so frustrating, Storm for sharing this award with me and giving me something to whine about, and everyone else for tolerating it all."

He looked down at the hair gel canister in his hand, "What's with you people and your obsession with my hair?"
