Parents' Weekend and You!
As Parents' Weekend is almost upon us with all the emotional trauma therein, here's a helpful guide to where our visitors can go and when they can be on the island.
Tomorrow afternoon (Friday October 19th) a Welcome Picnic will be put up in the Park so guests of students, teachers, and townies alike may sign in, get name tags, and mingle. If your guest is arriving on Saturday or later in the day on Friday, that's perfectly fine too.
Guests are welcome to roam the island (though only students' guests will be allowed to go above the first floor of the dorms without specific invitation) for the entire weekend. Access to community journals for the registered guests will be granted tonight.
Adult visitors may stay at the Arms Hotel (make sure to let the management know here) or at their teacher or townie host's residence. If a student is having a friend or sibling aged 17 or under visit them, the guest may stay with the student in the dorms - as always, we strongly encourage OOC communication with your roommate.
During the weekend, there will be several school sponsored activities for the residents and guests including a cheerleading demonstration, Sunday brunch, and an all-Island mixer. Teachers will also be having office hours in order to meet their wonderful students' families and friends. This is by no means meant to limit anyone, and visitors are free to tag into posts throughout the weekend.
As much as we love them (or not), all guests will need to leave the island by Sunday night.
Questions? Comments? Gags or Blindfolds for Unexpected Visitors?

...this is so the wrong account to say that from. It's, like, omg, Captain America just said 'slutty.'
