Karal cleared his throat. "There's an old Australian stockman, lying, dying, and he gets himself up on one elbow, and he turns to his mates who are gathered 'round him and he says..." And he burst into song.

For a given value of song.

Watch me wallabys feed mate.
Watch me wallabys feed.
They're a dangerous breed mate.
So watch me wallabys feed.
Altogether now!

Tie me kangaroo down sport,
tie me kangaroo down.
Tie me kangaroo down sport,
tie me kangaroo down.

John continued the song...

Keep me cockatoo cool, Curl,
keep me cockatoo cool.
Don't go acting the fool, Curl,
just keep me cockatoo cool.
Altogether now!

Take me koala back, Jack,
take me koala back.
He lives somewhere out on the track, Mac,
so take me koala back.
Altogether now!

He was a little afraid of himself.

Jim continued the increasinly weird song.

Mind me platypus duck, Bill,
mind me platypus duck.
Don't let him go running amok, Bill,
mind me platypus duck.
Altogether now!

Play your digeridoo, Blue,
play your digeridoo.
Keep playing 'til I shoot thro' Blue,
play your digerydoo.
Altogether now!

This song didn't mean that platypi were real.

Adah stared. Yeah. They were going to get a speech out of her. That was a good one. Eno doog a saw taht.

She might boggle a bit, as well, over the idea of two people who weren't really even technically together (ahem) getting an OTP if she actually knew what an OTP even was.

Kerrigan's speech was brief, to-the-point, and not in any way redundant.

It lasted all of three seconds and three words: "Oh, hell no."

And she was gone, glaring at some kid on her way out. Life was so much easier when 'public speaking' just meant 'technobabble like a crazy fiend, then shoot what you want for breakfast'.

GOB couldn't be at the awards tonight. He was too busy in Atlantic City getting married to a hooker whose name he would never learn. He was presented with his award while waiting for his name to be called by the Justice of the Peace, and took the time to record a message for the audience.

"Really? Best Townie. Yeah, thanks a lot. I'm there for two years and I only win two Best Townie Awards. That's only about one a year." It was exactly one per year. "It's like you vote on these based on who 'entertains you' or something. Well I'll tell you what, I left the 'entertainer' game last year so it's not like I was even eligible. So there! And apparently my being gone entertains you more than my being around? Well guess what. You can kiss my-- Oh, sorry, I thought they called my name. Have you met my soon-to-be wife? That's right, I'm getting married to a hooker. A blond hooker. You don't even have hookers there anymore! Who's a sucker now, huh?"

"Anyway, thanks again for the award and... Oh, there's my name! Next time you see us, we'll be the new Mr and Mrs GOB Bluth."

They wouldn't be. Two days from now they'll have had an annulment because GOB wasn't willing to pay the extra charge for honeymoon sex. It will be his first successful annulment.

[OOC: And on a much more serious OOC note, thank you so much. It really means a lot to me that GOB leaves the game with a recognition like this. It's a really nice cap on two years of fun with him. Thank you.]

A somewhat older Alanna returned to the stage. "Thank you everyone and ... I guess you'll be seeing us in thirty years. Give or take."

Since Lee is not Deadpool or Squall, he cannot break the fourth wall and, thus, cannot properly thank you for this nekkid icon award.

So, he'll just stand here and look pretty and you all can admire the icon.

Thank you!

Hamlet floated in through the wall to take his place at the podium, causing a noticeable drop in the room temperature.

"Thank you for this. I must admit, I had no pretensions of winning this, so thank you for showing that one need not necessarily be alive to do things. Thank you again, and I hope to see you again at some point in the future, if I am able to haunt this way again."

He reached for the award banner code, but found that he couldn't pick it up. After three or four attempts, he sighed, gave up, and floated out through the other wall.
