Because the Administration Cares About Your Safety: Fire Drill!

Or, you know, because the island hates you and would like to make you even crankier and perhaps also interrupt any possible sexy tiems that might be going on, the fire alarm will go off in the dorms tonight, at 2 a.m. Fandom time.

A post will go up set on the lawn for students to gather in their PJ's and bitch about it. This evening, for maximum bitchity time.

Your other options are to mod your character out of the dorms or have your student acknowledge the alarm but keep doing whatever they're doing. If you have plans set in the dorms for the evening, this needn't interfere if you don't wish it to, since your thang could be happening before or after the alarm.

Questions, comments, cake? (Unless you're Nick, in which case you get pie, because the island, as we mentioned, hates you.) Also, you can blame [livejournal.com profile] trickster_twin for this one, muahaha.

The 2am ones are always the best *nodnod*

*nods along* Only topped by the three am ones. Or the 6:30 am why-is-that-guy-holding-a-phone-book-and-wearing-boxers-and-absolutely-nothing-else?

I went to an all-girls school. It was always amusing to see how many guys suddenly appeared when the fire alarm went off.

*totally did not just roll off the bed from laughter, really*

My two famous fire alarms were the one at three thirty am which had two buildings of mostly sophomores standing around in pj's and bathrobes in the cold and a random party from the second floor that decided to just continue right then and there. Oddly enough? That wasn't a drill. There was actually a wee fire in the garage.

And then there was the one with the guy. And the phone book. As you do.

Oh, I remember that one. Seeing if we could beat the numbers peering over the fences each term was a whoooole big challenge.

...that brings back memories of the first time I was at uni. Even though when the fire alarm went off it was because people kept setting it off at odd hours. (Our floor once set it off because people were cooking steak sandwiches at 1am). We only ever had a drill like once during O week. I'm pretty sure the local fire department hated us. :)

The earliest one was like at four am, it sucked because I had to be up at in three hours to catch the train home :)
