Announcement Regarding Our Players

Good afternoon!

Just a quick note that will impact a few of our players. After some careful discussion, we've decided that all players in non United States timezones will no longer be allowed at Fandom High. It's just too hard to coordinate timezones and the like around those of you who live in the future or in the past. We're going to allow you time to wrap up story lines but, unless you choose to move to the United States, your comm access will be revoked and you will no longer be allowed to apply again.

It's just easiest on us all. There are too many timezones and we just cannot keep up anymore.

Thanks for your time and patience with us! We look forward to working with all those just in the United States in the future!

ETA: Please see this comment for additional information on other character developments. We're hopeful this is going to be a great move for us!

This is an interesting decision, but what about South America? Time zones extend into the southern hemisphere, too.

Of course, there is the fact that they got their seasons backwards and are upside down to consider.

After consulting with my fellow East Coasters, we've decided that they're also getting the axe. We can't deal with backwards seasons and them walking upside down.

You appear to have left out the part of the policy change applying to characters.

Because we feel it is unfair to exclude players, but not treat the characters in the same manner, all characters from other countries or planets will have to vacate Fandom as well, unless they can provide a work-permit or proof of dual citizenship.

Characters who are citizens of the United States in any dimension are welcome to stay. Retconning to give your character dual citizenship will not be allowed, but sudden and fairly OOC changes to national allegiance by way of applying for U.S. citizenship will be considered on a case by case basis.

Unless you're Canadian.
