Job Openings: Given our wonderful influx of new student, teacher and townie characters, we figured it would be helpful to gather up a list of current job openings in one place. So if you're a business owner with potential openings, please ping into the appropriate thread below and let people know!

For people searching for jobs, just a quick run-down:

• Townies must have a business or work for someone else.


• Students may have a job, but aren't required to.

If you have living spaces open in town for teachers or townies, hollar out in the appropriate thread below!


Grownups, Please Let Us Know Where You Live!

Teachers and Townies all live in town (unless, like Anakin and Aeryn, they commute to an off-island home) and are listed in the Town Address List. We try to keep up with changes of address if we see them happen, but generally we need someone to drop us a line and let us know. In order to keep this cleaned up, we'd love it if you all would check the post for your adult characters, and if they're not there, or are listed at the wrong address, please ping into the third thread on this page and let us know what the new one is!

New teachers and townies who don't have an address yet, just pop back here once you do, and let us know. (Even if your character isn't on the island yet, you can still make OOC arrangements for an apartment, a room at the hotel, or a spot in one of the houses, and let us know here.)

Please ping in with the name(s) of your adult character(s) and their place of residence, IF it's not listed in the Town Address List, or is listed incorrectly. Pre-arranged addresses that haven't been moved into yet are fine to list here too. If it's a spot in one of the apartments or the hotel, you don't need the street address, just apartment/room number.

Is there a list somewhere of houses that exist that are currently unoccupied? Like if I wanted my new adult to buy a house and offer it up for roommates?

There would be, on the Town Address List, if there were any, but all the vacant houses have been bought up! The only vacancies are in business spaces at the moment.

Dani has three rooms for rent at 23 Griffin Way. Amenities include a pool, deck, rec room, and plenty of storage space.

The Arms Hotel has openings for anyone with weekend availability. Or, if you'd prefer, there's a Tuesday spot that Mary wouldn't mind giving up.

The Magic Box has openings for all days but Monday, Thursday and Friday. Knowing something about magic, demons, or the supernatural would be nice but not necessary.

Sophie now lives at 4 Apocalypse Avenue, above the renamed York Gallery, Fourth Dimension Fine Arts & Antiques.

Cabot and Associates has openings on Saturday and Sunday. (Unless any of her current employees are planning on switching days around, in which case, I'll update accordingly.)

The coding for the Address page is kinda borked -- I think there's an unclosed <blockquote> or <ul> after Derek Morgan? Or technically before, but it should close after him and doesn't, I mean.

(Sorry, former proofreader. I used to clean up HTML files -- if someone wanted to send me the code on that page, I could clean it up and make all the spacing pretty and other things that nobody in the world notices but me?)

I spent four years doing eBooks before I got downsized because nobody was buying or reading eBooks. I now have a highly specialized skill set that nobody wants or needs. Sort of depressing.

By 'code' I just meant the text in the big window on the Edit Journal Entries page - which isn't code, and the spacing doesn't exactly matter, either, but I was all OOOH I HELP!
