Meeeeeeeeeme: Five Things to Five People

Because some of us are stuck at work and hoping a meme will bribe the time monks to make the day go faster, I stole this one from [livejournal.com profile] see_beyond, whose post text I'm also stealing. NYEAH. I don't think we've done this one since last April.

Make a list of five things your character would like to say to five different people and don't include their names. The messages don't have to be secrets. Try to keep it to those on the island (or those off island like our esteemed alums and expatriates!), but if you need to pad your list, or it's really important, non-islanders (canonical characters that might not be IG) count too!

Example: Let's say Tracy was logged in as Umbridge:

1. Your mask really turned me on.
2. I saw such potential in you, young man.
3. You were the only one I was truly fearful of overpowering me.
4. Professional shin kicking should be your career.
5. I still want to swat you like the pest you are.

And then people could log in and try to guess who Umbridge was talking about (and the answers: 1) Deadpool, 2) Andrew, 3) Anakin, 4) Turtle, 5) Aly). Feel free to branch discussions off each statement if you'd like. You don't have to answer in straight "#1 is me!" You can just respond to the statement as in Deadpool would respond to the first statement of Umbridge's with: "And that's just what you can see of me."

Remember to check back throughout the day for new people posting new five things! And, as always, please play nice.

You can do more than five things, if you want. GO CRAZY WITH THAT.

1. I don't have any right to ask it but… don't ever go away, okay?
2. I'm done with you. I don't know that you understand that yet but I'm tired of being hurt by you.
3. Ne, do you think your old… well, you know… would've liked me?
4. What's the point in playing with my powers here if people're just going to get pissed about it here? Bravado aside, people don't—like mine. I wish I had yours. It'd be easier if I could just say point blank that I'm what you are instead of saying what I am and that the telepathy is just a side-power.
5. Thank you. I'm sorry I freaked you out with her name and her being around but—thank you. What you said helped.

1. You're good in a fight, but it irritates me that you seem like you know me because it puts me at something of a disadvantage.

2. If I ever really let you in a little, you'll understand why I won't let you in more.

3. You should hope we never have a rematch because I will figure out a way to beat you.

4. It bothers me that you know more than me by such a wide margin. But at least I have a target for how much I should know in the future.

5. Even though we're apparently on the same side, you are everything I strive not to be. But I wouldn't necessarily mind if people thought I was more like you.

1. When we first hooked up talked at that campfire, I never expected you'd end up someone I'd totally trust and do anything for. I'm going to miss you.
2. If it weren't totally sappy and stupid, I'd say you're the little brother I never had. Instead I wanna say you can count on me for anything. Even stealing cookies.
3. I don't care if this is only while we're here. I'm going to love you forever. Which - yeah, you already know how I feel.
4. I know, you're totally badass and wanna make it look like everything's sorted out, but nothing's wrong with taking time to be a girl, y'know?
5. I never, never, never expected a friend like you. Ever.

1. I'm not always much for modern technology, but I've kept every soppy text and voicemail you've ever sent me. I'm not... used to inspiring that kind of sentiment - god knows I've always disappointed those in which I should have -, and sometimes-- I need the reminder.
2. I don't hold... any of that against you. You've been a caring friend; I suppose I will miss you, too, in my way.
3. I think my knights would piss themselves laughing if they knew how well-acquainted we are at this time. Try not to get shot again - or captured, for that matter. I'd feel compelled to show up, and my ears are already ringing from the amount of shouting you do at me generally. ... that's an I care about you, too, in the native tongue of my family.
4. You may one day make a capable warrior. The day I tell you this is the day I'd slit my own throat. You have been a capable friend, however.
5. I don't know what I'd do without someone else around who just gets... certain concepts most people here don't. Even if you are frightfully naive, still.

1. I thought I wouldn't be able to open up to anyone here. I can't tell you how glad I am that I'm wrong.

2. I can't believe that I actually miss you. Crazy, isn't it? You should come hang out more.

3. There are very few people I could live with, peaceably, without worrying about the confidential files I've got scattered around. Thanks for being one of them.

4. You're adorable. You'd punch me for saying it, or at least give me dagger-looks, and your SO might think I was hitting on you, but I'm not. And you are. So there.

5. I never know what to make of you. I don't mean that in a bad way -- I just never entirely know if I'm coming or you're going. Maybe we're halfway out of synch.

1. I should be nicer to you, but it's funnier not to, and I think you like it.
2. If I could change all the bad shit that's happened to both of us, I don't think I would, because I wouldn't have met you. It's selfish, but I don't care.
3. I miss you, and I don't know how to do this without you.
4. It's nice to have a skeptic around again, and one from home at that. (And your accent is hot, shh.)
5. As much as I act like it bugs, it's nice that I have at least one sincere fan. It's sweet of you.

1. I miss you. You better be safe out there.
2. I know that you're jaded by the billion Skywalker/Solos and all, but it's a treat for me to be related to all of you, even through marriage, and even though I'm your age.
3. Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if you hadn't come back, and then I realize I don't want to know, because I don't want to ever be that sad again.
4. I really want you to babysit Juliet at some point, mostly because I want to see if she can talk to someone other than her father psychically.
5. I never pictured you as part of my future, but now that you're here, I don't know what I'd do without you. I love you more than anything.

1. You helped me grow beyond the girl I was into the woman I am, and I shall always be grateful.
2. I hope that wherever you are, you are well. I think of you often.
3. My life would be the more humorless without your inclusion. And generally less pleasurable.
4. Thank you for being patient with me. I need someone in my life who will walk me through my own idiocy.
5. I think I am ready to face the idea that you are my future.

1. I don't think she knows, and I'm not going to tell her. Stable and all that.
2. I DON'T CARE IF YOU LIKE IT, YOU SHOULDN'T PUT A RING ON IT.
3. It's a big world. Big. You're not big.
4. How do you stay in business?
5. Still looking for those cupcakes.
