I think I might be the actual only person in this office on my second week at this job where I don't know all of what I'm supposed to be doing, SO. MEME. We haven't done this one since- strangely- this time last year.

This is gonna work like a questions meme: Players respond ICly to questions about THIS LAST YEAR OR UPCOMING YEAR. For instance, "Who's someone you're glad you met this year?" or "What are your new year's resolutions?" or "What are you looking forward to in the coming year?" All answers are IC, nothing's gained IG from this but fun.

I'm in a stupid mood and I need a distraction so here's a meme we haven't done in about a year.

Tag in with a situation starting with the words "I've never," which can be anything from "I've never sang on the stage at Caritas" to "I've never cut off someone's hand in space." Then, other characters will ping off of it indicating whether they've done it or not. If you have done it, the custom in the drinking game is to, well, drink, which you can express with a succinct *drinks* or something a little more creative. So get those boozing icons ready!

And by all means, ping off of other characters to ask for details on the sordid things they're drinking about. The more detail, the better!

As with any meme, of course, all pings are IC but have no IC consequences.

I don't wanna deal with coworkers or work or life today, so here's a meme we haven't done since August 2024. We've had new characters in the last year, we might as well update.

There are certain characteristics about the people we play that *we* know, but we get tired of repeating in every introductory ping. There's also stuff that players wouldn't really be able to figure out just looking at an icon--how tall someone is, if they have an accent, what kind of clothes they are wearing...and in some cases, if their eyes/hair/whatever are different than the PB we've picked.

So wax poetic about what your characters look/sound like, if they have tics or scars, how they dress, if they have a distinct singing voice, etc!

I woke up too early with a headache I've had for two days now and work is going to be stupid because work is always stupid. We haven't done this since June of last year of last year so let's go.

Imagine that suddenly, everyone on the island is struck with relationship-amnesia. Trysts, exes, boyfriends, girlfriends, gone!

Y'all. I have gotten two hours of sleep tonight and I'm supposed to wake up in an hour and a half so things are not going as planned. So I came up with questions. We last did this in October.

I'm going to spend the first part of my day being anxious and annoying, and things have been kinda quiet, so I went and adapted the Bland Headcanons meme we last did in 2015.

What are your characters doing all day? Do they have a routine? Is there anything they do every day? Every week? Are they at work even when you don't manage to post?

You can be as vague or specific if you want. Whether you want to break it down by a timed schedule or just state a bit of what their day is like, let's hear it!

So yeah, if you want to say "They spend a lot of time on a regular day reading, and they go to work on Mondays and then after they get off in the late afternoon they eat dinner and go to bed immediately," that's cool. If you want to do something like:

What do you mean, I haven't posted a meme in a month?

... Look, it's been a stressful set of weeks, I need people doing some kind of meta in my inbox, so let's do this. Last done in November, please don't take OOC issues IC, you know the drill.

1. Comment with your character's name.
2. Other people will anonymously (or non-anonymously if you have no shame) comment back with a secret, a love, a worry, a fear, anything they have to confess to your character. This is allll IC.
3. Feel free to comment back to the confessor if you want.
4. Don't forget to check back to see who else has pinged in so you can divulge your innermost secrets to them!

We've got a bunch of new characters and I'm home sick so we're gonna do a meme we haven't done since 2022.

Ping in with your canon (as specifically as you'd like for giant insane comic, SW and MCU stuff). Then wait for other people to ping in with their canons! If you're familiar with it, tell them! And then, yay, new people to squee with!

When your day's going to be busy but you still want things to read for the times it's not: a meme! We last did this one in October.

Pose a question (or as many as you'd like, and they don't all have to be in one comment, so you can come back later and add more if you want) to your fellow players about the game or their characters, and they will Wall-of-Text if they want to, look, I know how some of you are answer them. They can be personal or silly. You don't have to answer all of them! Nothing counts in game, of course and etc.

Questions might include "Which of your characters are you the most like?", "Which BDE was your favorite?", "What music do you RP to?", etc.

Check in throughout the day to add questions/answer questions that have been added!

Hey folks! I am ending my streak of anxiety-calming memes posted at unamerican hours with a classic we apparently haven't done since 2021(!): the domesticity meme.

Ping your character in and people will offer up a pairing with that character, which is used to answer the meme questions. Feel free to answer with single words, though explanations and examples are always fun. Then other people can chime in with how they see that pairing work. Any pairing goes: friends, NPCs, canon love, canon hate, canon indifference, roommates/housemates, and if-Hell-froze-over-and-these-two-characters-got-together, go crazy! Don't forget to check back in throughout the day and see who else has pinged in!

For example:
Who uses all the hot water in the morning? Warren. He's got a LOT more to wash than Karla and when she is in the mood to spend a long time in the tub, she takes a bath with a glass of wine and a book. Also, Warren is the one who leaves the bathroom a wreck because soggy wings leave water everywhere.

I have to post this one from Atton because it's his meme, really. Anyway! We haven't done this since 2020, which was the last time we'd done it since 2008, so we're getting better about being timely with it woo.

Comment with any subject that you would like me to rant on, with possible probable swearing involved. Any subject - I don't even have to agree with it.

Ping your characters in, and players can ask them to rant about any subject. For instance, you can ask Anakin about sand and watch him go! You can use OOC knowledge to get them started, but remember that this doesn't actually transfer in-game.

Have fun, and remember to check back to see who else you can get a wall of text from!

Yeah, yeah, I know, it hasn't been six months, but it feels like it might as well have been, with the amount of extremely awesome new characters that have shown up lately.

So hey, you all know the drill:

1. Make a comment to this post with the name of your character/s.
2. Go through and leave anonymous comments in other characters' threads saying something nice about them. (This can be about the character or how they're played, or even something nice about the player; any of this is acceptable as long as they're nice things.)
3. Read the comments your characters get and feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside.

Don't forget to check back in throughout the day to give people more love! And I challenge you all to ping in one character at a time this time.
